അടിമ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രം പറയുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാ വിഭാഗങ്ങളും അനുഭവിച്ച അടിമത്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയണം. കുറഞ്ഞത് ഇന്ദുലേഖയെങ്കിലും വായിച്ചിട്ട് ചരിത്രം പറയുക. താങ്കൾ ഇപ്പോൾ പറയുന്ന പുലയന്റെ അടിമ ചരിത്രം എല്ലാവരും ആവോളം പറഞ്ഞുകഴിഞ്ഞതാണ്.

Slave trade was prevelant all around the world in one form or other. But nobody did slavery like Europeans and Americans where a free person walking through the streets of Africa will be caught, chained and shipped to Europe or America. Slavery in any form is a horrible thing but the western slavery was one of the most tragic events in the history of the world where humans were not even given the value of animals.

Initially it was "Varna ashramam" , there was no concept of upper class and lower class. I think it evolved into caste system in India later on that defined lower caste as untouchables etc. That's probably why no one really complained about being lower caste
