How To Replace V-Tech Solenoid Gasket/ How To Test Solenoid (2003-2007 Honda Accord)(Code: P2646)

This is a step by step tutorial on how to fix your engine light code P2646 by replacing your 2003-2007 Honda Accord 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder V-Tech Solenoid Gasket. This video will also show you how to test your V-Tech Solenoid. The reason I’m replacing my V-Tech Solenoid Gasket is because my vehicle was leaking oil pretty bad only on the passenger side underneath the V-Tech Solenoid onto the frame all the way to the back of the vehicle. After having to refill the oil at least once a week due to all the oil leaking out, my vehicle finally gave an engine light code of P2646. Some symptoms the vehicle showed besides the oil leaking all out was loss of power when accelerating and also bad gas mileage. I replaced the V-Tech Solenoid Gasket and no more oil leak, better gas mileage, and the vehicle is good as new accelerating like normal.

The green plug is the oil pressure switch, the other one is the solenoid. the switch should show closed circuit, the solenoid should show around 15 20 ohms.
