Truly exceptional account of a true devotee ...was desperately needed as bhagwan is being ostracized..these days .... people aught to know that he was a truly enlightened master ...much gratitude Rashid .

OMG Rashid Maxwell speaking, thanks a lot. In fact, I read intro to "The Only Life" in a local news paper and bought the book. It was extra ordinary, particularly the things about Laxmi. Luckily younger generation is finding interest in OSHO.

Bought this book yesterday afternoon and read it almost continuously to finish reading it cover to cover in a little over 24 hours. Absolutely "delysseus" in its detail and the appropriate use of Hindi terms. Ma Yoga Laxmi Kuruwa gets a really raw deal and the wrong end of the stick several times at the hands of the notorious Ma Anand Sheela Ambalal Patel nee Silverman and Acharya Rajneesh (Osho) himself. The ashram intrigues during the Bombay years, Poona one, Rajneeshpuram and Poona two, give a bad rap to life in a commune versus a family. Does a disciple/devotee like Ma Yoga Laxmi deserve the pain and hardship of being banned, banished and having to work a food truck and at a tiffin carrier business to make ends meet? Such a roller coaster ride would break even the sturdiest of people and drive them nuts. It appears that Osho died a premature death due to the side effects of the heavy dosage of medicines administered to him by his western personal physician Sw Amrito. The book itself needed some more proof reading and editing. Nonetheless, a great effort at accurate reportage, analysis and presentation of facts.

@@SRIJAN138 There is no concrete evidence that is consistent with Thalium poisoning. If it were so, Rajneesh would have lost all his hair, much like a cancer patient undergoing radiation/chemotheraphy. Rajneesh retained a full beard until the end. And had a fairly long crop of hair on his head despite the male pattern baldness.
