As an aside, for anyone wondering about purchasing MG brushes…I bought a MG crease brush and the exact same outer v brush in this video over 5 years ago. I use both of them every-single-day and they still work as well as they did the day I bought them!! Just an FYI for anyone needing great brushes at a reasonable price!! 👁 💜 🖌
Totally agree! I love the MUG eye brushes! I even bought several back-ups since I use them daily... that way I have x-tra sets to use until I can wash the others.

Thanks Marlena! The right brushes are essential for a great outcome. Don't skimp on brushes. But don't go into debt for them either. Do your research and read reviews. Some amazing affordable ones out there. I'm an artist and its the same in the studio, get good staples and your work will thank you for it. It makes the world of difference with the right tools. Your expensive MU (or any) won't look half as good if its poorly applied. I really got into MU about 5-6 years ago and one thing that changed it all was getting to know and use the proper tools. I was caught up in 'oh that foundation (or eye palette or whatever) doesn't work, I'll go buy something else' to finding out the hard and expensive way that it was the crappy few tools I had.

I hope MG will be coming out with eye brushes. I got the new angled foundation brush and it is fantastic. I also grabbed a highlighting and a contour brush on sale that are amazing, too.

I have this issue too! I saw in a video somehow that if you use a good eyeshadow primer it can really help with the skipping issue. 🤷♀️ I have been trying it and it's not a miracle, but it helps a lot!

What does one do if they have extremely hooded eyes due to age and crepe lids that causes skipping when blending?
