That isn’t the hardest hit.
The south coast of Clarendon, Manchester and st Elizabeth is the worst hit.
Exactly my thought. Been watching on satelite with wind speeds etc. Americans dont know north from south it seems 🤨
@@Jayll1984you should hush and humble yourself, before life does it for you… and next thing you know you’re crying for your loved ones.

Those Americans complaining about tired and hungry are absolutely ridiculous. The people of Jamaica kept you safe and that’s what your complaint about. Absolutely ridiculous 🤮🙄
Their livelihood depends on protecting & pampering tourists
They should be thankful they are alive and well.

no problem mon!
All the Caribbean Islands are strong
Trust me my family and friends were not partying at all. I thank Almighty God that only one person is reported to have died so far in Jamaica. Jamaica did not suffer as badly as it could have because of the disaster action plan they have in place. There is a lot of damage and they will need financial support along with the rest of the Caribbean

1:30 am sorry... but YOU went on holiday during hurrican season. You know this can happen. Please dont complain about being "uncomfortable" while on holiday while plenty ppl in Jamaica lost more than a few beachdays.... Have some consideration for the people that are far worse off please.
I was 😯. Like grab a shovel and help out or please get off the island and don't come back.

Absolutely, typical Americans complaining instead of helping out, shame on them. Jamaicans and a lot of other people are impacted throughout the Caribbean due to this devastating storm. I don’t care about this Americans and their feelings, I care about all the Jamaicans and other islanders that were impacted by this storm. As for the Americans, go back to the mainland and never come back!
Glad I'm not the only one who had this same reaction to they uncomfortable comment

Most of thhe international media tend to station themselves in either Montego Bay or Kingston, closer to the airports. A lot of the reports are not actually showing the hardest hit areas of St. Thomas, Clarendon, Manchester, and St. Elizabeth. The reporters do not really venture far away from the airports.
Omg! 😳 prayers for all Those beautiful people in Jamaica 🇯🇲 anyone else as well ! 😢

Why not book a flight home if the news reports that there is a hurricane coming towards the island?
Air ports were refusing, said it would cause too much chaos
Next time book the flights for them, since you are the smartest thing on the planet. 🙄
Oh yeah book a flight in the middle of a hurricane ok buddy
They got a chance too the airlines lower the prices is anyone wanted to escape

The reporter is on the north coast on the opposite side of the island impacted, as Beryl passed on the southern coast. She didn't experience the magnitude of it. Thanking God it did not make landfall as was earlier predicated, can't imagine what that would been like. Kingston & St Andrew fared well, so too Portmore & parts of St. Catherine. However southern parishes of Clarendon, Mandeville, St Elizabeth were'nt as fortunate.
That American couple needs to go home and never come back Lifetime
Jamaica pass revoked), talking about we are tired, hungry and ready 2 JUST go home. Really? and that daughter talking about it's " uncomfortable" Really? You think the Jamaica people who live their get to say this is uncomfortable? and talking about no food, you at a hotel and from the looks of it a very nice one, typical boogie family, who not use to having a little things that don't go as planned, Jamaica will bounce back from this ,their resolve is 2nd to none, they are very strong resilient people.Prayers 4 all of Jamaica and the Caribbean and anyone else affected by this Hurricane.
It was intense in Kingston where I was. But the worst affected Parish is St Elizabeth and Manchester.
Tired? Go sleep, hungry? The hotel would never leave their guests without food! That woman is so lie!

And this is the beginning of the hurricane season
Yeah, that thought does is a bit unsettling, isn't it?
1:36 Scary voodoo lady
Dang we dont see this till mid august to early september
Yep. The peak of hurricane season isn’t even here yet. Eerie.
Montego bay is not one of the hardest hot areas but one of the least affected. The west Coast is going to be a nightmare..are there any survivors there?
How about you use the metric system so that we can understand how strong the winds were.
Boy shes so happy peppy about it
And I just talked to a guy from Harrison, Arkansas in Jamaica on Monday morning on channel 38 LSB on CB Radio # 702 he is in Jamaica area
To the family who hungry tired and can't wait to leave. Well you knew it was coming and you had a choice to leave. Since you decide to stay don't sit on camera complaining while you have a roof over your head to go to while many others don't. They are hungry and tired too but this is now reality their new lives. Get over your self and be grateful for what you have that they don't have.
So knowing there’s a storm coming they should have stocked up instead of thinking someone else should sort out their problems 🙄

It’s doing tens of dollars worth of damage. Do they even have toilets there. ?

We had no idea, I lived in Jamaica till a month ago and I had no idea ts was happening till 1 week ago
Why would anyone get on a plane to go a place that is CLEARLY in the path of a hurricane?? 😂😂
Jamaica hasnt had a hurricane in over a decade
@@dh9224 I’m just saying that all phones have a weather app. Use it!!!
@@eyelovecolorado2195 i agree the americans are being very dramatic but when you say why people would get on a plane to jamaica when it is clearly in the path of an hurricane, people book their tickets for months ahead and once you're there and a hurricane is coming in 3 days or so the airports will shut down for the time being, some might get ti change their flight before then but not everyone can do that because of time and money
You just have to ride out the storm
I just think a lot of americans are being dramatic because they've never been in a hurricane before. You're quite safe in your cushy hotel resort.
Give God thank for life again in it's a blessing
Why showing us tree don't make any sense.
Thankful that the island did not experience great impact, bout how long would one expect the island to recover???

@@marcusrivas229it is. But if you know it can happen you shpuldnt complain about it. They had a few days without sunshine while plenty ppl lost a whole lot more. Why are ppl like that on the news???
Most hurricanes in Jamaica happen between August and October
Yeah because google is all knowing
A hurricane in June is very unlikely. In Jamaica, we have a saying: June too soon, July stand by, August is a must, September to remember and October all over.
The damage is mostly trees and leaves. By next week, the hotels will be prestine. Seaweed on the beach will be gone
Flight 828??
😢Waaah!
I wonder if this Hurricane had any effect on the uprising in Haiti

The North side was not the hardest hit, but she never looked at a map. I'd like to see the resorts in Negril.
Mobay isn't a hard hit. They should have power already tbh. The power company on the island isn't doing enough. Poor
I loved the people of Jamaica during my cruise visit. I also respected how dangerous their country was and its laws compared to the US where I’m used to being.
With that said, the only aspect I didn’t appreciate was the cost of everything being more expensive for food than in America given their currency is a multiple in value compared to ours over there and they made me pay US Cash. $16 for a bag of chips and a sandwich is lunacy. Mexico, is beginning to have these issues as well. In Jamaica, in their currency that chips and sandwich would cost them $2 US, not $16.
Flying bananas!
That girl saying she on vacation and hungry and tired, she so wicked, no way u could be hungry in Jamaica
St Elizabeth got the hardest hit

Sorry
You do know Kingston is the capital and was more directly hit?
Kingston was not directly hit. Kingston was actually the least affected; being speared by the hills of the neighboring parishes and mountain. Portland, St. Thomas (east coast), were greatly affected. The south coast of St. Elizabeth, Clarendon, got hit the worst. Those are the areas that won’t be seen on the international news outlets because they are all local people and not major tourist areas.
