I would suggest the A-Team, but that's more of a Kill Team homebrew not a 500-point set. Still would be fun though

This codex should offer several tricks up its sleeve for the Spartans, such as the overloaded shield to give more HP to some Spartans for a few turns, and give some benefit from Spartan Time

Guard do actually have a few super soldiers like kasrkin, gland warriors and the Afriel strain clones.

I didn’t know the Kasrkin were super soldiers, I actually thought they were just super extra veteran Cadians. Maybe I could buy a couple for a Noble Team kitbash in the future.

Kasrkin have genetic augmentation in dawn of war as an upgrade and more recent lore does corroborate with this.
