Hi Kaylee, my ex girlfriend had a goat farm. I remember waiting up all through the night for Mama goat to have her kiddies - often in the winter nights. I always liked the Spring , Summer or Autumn for the all night births but it happens when it happens. It's a beautiful thing when they come out and are healthy and they are so adorable. We had them in a paddock but her farm had a mountain on one side and as the kiddies grew a bit they used to dance up on the mountain edge. I loved watching them prancing and dancing. So cute and adorable. We didn't have a barn.... just a goat shed. Often Mama wanted to have the kiddies in the paddock so we camped out keeping night watch. It's such a relief when they come out all healthy. Baby goats are just so adorable. Thanks for this video 😀
Oh what an amazing experience to have! There really is nothing like that energy of the whole experience - especially when everything goes right. It always puts me in complete awe of how incredible nature is! So glad that you got to experience and be part of something so magical!
Ha ha ha! "And by we, I mean me, and Lindy watched me do it..." Cracked us up. We can just see that happening! Great setup and use of 5-gallon buckets. I swear, you can use those buckets for just about everything. Thanks for another great video!
Ha! I couldn't help throwing some shade her way 🤣 To be fair, she was a very supportive audience! And yes, the buckets are amazing! I was so tired of plastic bins that don't last. This is so much better!
Bahaha! I'm so glad you liked it! We definitely don't do anything perfect around here, but I think we have more fun that way! More goat content coming soon! 😁
Yes we always keep latex and nitrile gloves on hand. I showed some briefly in the video but we keep a big box of them in our feed room for easier access. It’s still super important to scrub hands and arms before gloving up whenever possible. 😊

This was a great video! Thank you so much. Already love your channel and you totally had me when you chunked the cord over the stall wall!

Another great video 👍 Thank you
Hi! What were the cameras used that you liked called? Idk why my phone keeps skipping that part!
Do you use plastic gloves when helping a goat kid. You mentioned chlorhexidine on hands

Do you use blackstrap molasses or the fancy kind?
I just use blackstrap 😊
