I have one. Lot of fun. I wait for a replacement battery that will improve the range and power. Just like he talks about in this video. Reasonably priced! If you want this bike before they improve it, it will be great for nostalgia. I still haven't understood the pedals and why they are placed where they are.
can you connect a solar panel to the cigarette port to charge while you're at work/school? Imagine if the fairings were solar panels... Certainly would help a lot. Wouldn't do anything while riding, but sure would help when its parked in a sunny parking lot if you're at work for 8hrs, might even fully charge the battery.
The chinese are amazing they take parts from many different motorcycles and put them together , so much so you cant tell who the actual manufacturer is . I have the same bike but it has a 250cc gas engine and some different suspension parts
I have a daymak EM2 and it's really really nice every where I go people ask me if its really a Ebike I love my EM2 😍......just one thing it needs better battery that's my only problem
This is a beautiful e-bike I live in Windsor Ontario and just put a payment down for one and a Red one and they said at Daymak that they had 11 in stock of the red one and they have to oder it out and they said will take up to maybe 5 weeks or so till come in They are not cheap I had to put $550 down as a payment so they can oder it and the EM2 ebike I'm going to be with tax $3,429,54 but now only own $2,879.54 because I put down $550.00 again its a very beautiful looking bike to see in person.

Very similar to my emmo zone gts. USB plug is in the rear seat..and I also have dual front disk. 45 amp battery.. the phase app sounds very interesting though..something maybe emmo dosent have ?? I don't know
EMMO doesn't have the bluetooth app function on any of their bikes, and it is't looking like they're going to any time soon. They are starting to shift to a kind of programmable controller, but not something just anyone could do.
@@sarniaebikes681 actually that's incorrect..mine has fm tuner and line in and Bluetooth functions..I found it on inside of the fairing...by gas tank..I used it to listen to my music list on I phone. Just Bluetooth link and go
We have delivered out that far before. We could also have one drop shipped right to your door, you'd just have to take it out of the box, but it'd ready to go from there.
It depends on what amperage of battery you go with. On a baseline 30Ah lithium unit, you'll likely see between 80-85 km, while the oversized battery that we had brought out to us, the 60ah, the owner has had the bike exceed 100 km in range.
You can, there's not a huge amount of access to Daymak in the US, but it's possible to ship one out. A quick check to the MO area, it looks like you don't need insurance or registration, but you DO need an operators licence. However, you are also able to have the bike go a good deal faster by law (48 kph or 30 mph). If you want to look into shipping costs or the like, drop me an email. sarniaebikes@gmail.com
Both bikes have their ups and downs, the newest version of the EM2 has a plastic tank that opens up for storage, while the GTS have more powerful batteries.
Not safely, no. Only 8V higher than normal, it's less likely to cause issues, but exceeding hte rated voltage on a controller can risk burning the components out.
I could be wrong but I just wanted to point out you said that this bike is the only one of its kind it's not it's an old emmo Zone. As far as I know the only difference between this bike and the old Zone is it has an app. People should know that every single motorcycle Style ebike is pretty much the same they're all from China and again the only thing that separates daymak from emmo or motorino is that their bikes, with an app. Still very nice bikes
The overall design of the EM2 is not unique, but I was speaking of a specific bike that we worked on with a 60 Ah lithium battery in it, and to my knowledge, Daymak hasn't built another one since then with that kin of battery power.
I have a question I am thinking off getting a bike like this I test drove the emmo zone but if only does 55km on the battery is there a way to get it to do a bit longer in distance and I think I was told it only 55mph which would be what in kph ? I would like the bike to do 80 to 85 kph casue some main streets in my area to go to work are 70
About the only way to really push the distance and speed past the levels you're looking at would be to get the bike in Lithium Ion. You would get a boost in distance for sure, and depending on the amperage of the bike, you'd likely see an uptick in speed as well.
And be illegal. Any copy witnesses the speed and you are likely to get the bike impounded and driving without a motorcycle license, one for tampering with the e-bikes safety and a driving without valid insurance. E-bikes when modified become regular motorcycles that are unapproved for those speeds and thus cannot be insured.
@@sarniaebikes681 would that be a "Yes" for a 9th grader? Or a "14 yr old"? and does this require my student to have any type of license per Florida law?
It's legally classified as a power assisted bicycle, but given the weight involved, the location of the pedals, and the short arms on said pedals, I don't think it's reasonably possible to actually pedal one of these
@@sarniaebikes681 Now you see in the UK even if a 250 watts motor would move something this heavy, it would still be illegal because the pedals wouldn't be functional.
@@flitsies The pedals are TECHNICALLY functional, in the loosest sense of the word. They will turn, and they will turn the back wheel, it's just take a ridiculous amount of strength to move it. Bit iffy either way. Suppose it just depends on how stringent someone was being about it.
Technically governed to 32 kph, once the controller was tuned for maximum speed, the normal lead acid batteries came to approximately 60-63 kph, while the Lithium hit 83 kph. It also has enough torque to burn out the back tire, and runs for nearly twice as far.
There isn't a 60ah Lead Acid price for this bike, 60ah in lead wouldn't fit in the bike, and would also add about 120 lbs to it. If you want higher amperage, you HAVE to go lithium.
@@sarniaebikes681 How much was the 60ah lithium? This would be the primary mod I would make to Daymak EM2/Emmo Zone. I recently started doing Foodora/Ubereats deliveries and would way rather use an ebike over my car. The EM2 seems awesome but I worry about the range for 5 hours shifts. The KM can really start to add up on those shifts.
Hi, what do you know about the climbing angle? Not only for this model, also for other brands like Emmo. I’m considering picking up one but I’m not sure about their performance on hills
The angles do vary somewhat from model to model, but the majority are in the 28 to 35 degree range. Also, it is to my experience that you can climb steeper hills, provided you're not starting on said incline. If you've already got your speed/momentum behind you, you can go over considerably steeper hills
I see some problems that are either from a rushed build job or poor measurements for parts during production.. Several pieces of the body not lining up and meeting flush on the sides like they should (I've seen in some customers video on youtube that their also have this problem some worse than others.) There are lift pegs screwed in the wheels on this bike but those I'm assuming do not come with a stock bike. Why are we hearing about some guys custom em2 for 2 and a half minutes but we never get any real numbers on price to upgrade or what his range or speeds actually changed to so what was the point in telling us all that?
