Absolutely divine. Should be a set decorator in Hollywood. Love all the detail, touches of herbs and old bottles. Looks interesting without being junky or kitsch, dark without being goth. Especially loved the table setting. The cloche with green moss and unexpected creepy crawlies was perfection.
Like the Whos in Whoville helped the Grinch find his Christmas spirit, watching this video helped me find me warm, fuzzy Halloweenie spookies. The BEST!
Absolutely, clear glass plates or even those Avon Cape Cod Ruby plates would be killer. Only had white plates at the time though and didn’t want to throw off the aesthetic. 😆
I only recently discovered your channel as well, because it showed up in suggestions on my homepage. I am quite inspired by your use of vintage/antique as the basis of your spooky/Halloween/gothic decorating style rather than items that are "specifically" Halloween themed. I do collect vintage, linens, dishes, kitchenware, furniture, books and decor pieces, although I lean more towards pewters and blacks and greys, (as opposed to brass and gold tones) and I adore vintage transferware and Staffordshireware (i.e. Johnson Brothers). I'm also obsessed with dragons, owls, ravens, classic gothic monsters... and good quality flameless candles (for the safety factor). This has awakened my imagination to use some of my vintage dinnerware and other collections to anchor my Halloween 'scapes. Amazing Job! And I need to know how the movie is projected up above... "The Mummy" is a perfect finishing touch 🤩

Love what you are doing here… I’m also a professional home stager and hearing you say you don’t love the arrangement of the sunroom furniture… 2 ideas, as I see this all the time in these small spaces. 1) rather than setting the furniture in a U pattern, have the 2 chairs across from the settee. 2) a round coffee table would suit the space much better and make the space feel larger.

Might I suggest that for your lovely chairs, you can wipe them down with linseed oil. You can Google the directions and CZcams some before & after's! Its truly amazing the difference it makes!

I love your videos I just happened to have some of this stuff already in my house old medical stuff bottles and surgical antiques and aomey really old books and old photos from early 1900's . so I will use them for my next year's Halloween decorating .I would have done it this year but I didn't think of using that stuff in Halloween and my house is already decorated with another theme but definitely next Halloween. Yess, it would be so nice to be able to rotate it, we have it set to where the seating faces our pull down projector screen though. I have actually switched it a bit since this video but it’s still not quite there, in time I’ll find the right furniture! ☺️
I really like your style. Thrifting is so much fun, you never know what you’ll find. Side note…We used to have sunroom similar to yours and had trouble with furniture placement. What worked for us, was to angle the loveseat in a corner and place the 2 chairs side by side (like a loveseat) in the opposite corner. It helped with the flow. Happy Halloween 🎃

Try putting chairs in each corner at window and couch opposite. Reverse what you are doing with furniture couch and chairs
