This is going to be just like the Tyson vs Roy Jones sparing match.
I don't think so. If you watch that fight Mike recognized in the 1st round that Roy was not up to the task and slowed it down by about 90%. He could have killed Roy if he wanted too. They're friends. On the other hand, Jake has no excuses and will try to beat Mike. Mike will go all out to win this one.

Mike Tyson was one of the hardest punches who ever stepped into the ring. That was in the mid 80s to early 90s. If this fights truly on the level, his chances are slim, but l wouldn't count him out either.

There's no possible Tyson will lose. Tyson was a warrior and even when you start to age a bit, that tiger is still in him. He's like a machine during training. Fast, aggressive, fierce, unpenetrable. He's a machine and Jake is just a pretty boy. Those are the facts. But i love both the machine and pretty boy.
Jake is Crazy.... Hes going to get hit VERY, VERY hard. Once Tyson closes the distance and he *WILL* close the distance very quickly hes going to seriously get hurt and hit like hes never been hit before. Hes going to get hurt in the 1st rd.

Yes with experience, foot work, ring knowledge & lunging hook ability, Mike should be able to close distance & damage him easily.
It would take footwork & a strong jab to control him & Jake has neither.
Tyson will destroy him. Thats the reality.
Only issue is Tyson is not getting hit in the head. And anyone that is sparring with him, is definitely not trying to hurt him. We have absolutely no clue if a 60 year old man can take a punch from an athletic and strong 27 year old.
Having said that, Tyson peek-a-boo weaves inside immediately, hits a few rib shots. Jake will do a good job keeping distance and staying away and tying him up when Tyson breaks distance for 2 rds (because that’s all he’s gonna focus on because the rib shots are gonna hurt too much and he won’t open up).
By rd 3, Tyson hits him with a hook to the body then head… game over.
