Take the role of a plane crash survivor stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Experience terrifying encounters both above and below an endless environment. Come face to face with some of the most life threatening scenarios that will result in a different experience each time you play.
Generate an Infinite Number of Procedural Worlds - Explore Pacific islands, reefs, and bottomless ocean trenches filled with detailed biomes!
No two worlds are the same - You can generate a completely new and randomized world at any time. You can also mix your own maps created with the map editor in with the procedurally created maps in the world for a more customized experience. If you feel like sharing, you can even share your world seed with other players.
* Please note, currently the generated world size is limited to 6.25km2 but the final world size will be much larger.
Dynamic Weather and Day-Night Cycle - Struggle to navigate stormy seas or enjoy basking with a coconut on a sunny afternoon.
Unique Physically-based Crafting System - Harvest resources to create equipment by combining them together in the physical world - no crafting slots!
Unique Physically-based Building System - Settle on an island and construct a shelter or venture the seas with your own built raft.
Detailed Survival Aspects and Interaction - Manage your vitals of hunger, thirst, blood, and health against the harshness of mother nature.
Random Loot and Collectables - Search sunken shipwrecks and islands for interesting and rare equipment.
Hunting and fishing - Spear small animals in the shallows or risk the depths with a spear gun in search of larger meals. Starve an island of resources or maintain and manage its growth.

There are yucca fruits which can be used to plant yucca plants to get an infinite supply of lashings. It appears after you destroy a yucca plant.
Despite this game, in my eyes, not being ready for a full release, it is still very entertaining to watch!
Thanks, PSJ, your videos always make me jump back in and play again. I usually fill up my inventory with spears and then go hunt the nearby sharks. If you throw throw the spears and hi them while they're swimming away, they'll swim back to you quickly. If you time it right you can get in multiple shots and kill them quickly. There's usually one hammerhead and one tiger, but sometimes two hammerheads. Once they're gone, it's usually safe around the island.
I’ve been watching you for as long as I can remember (I followed your survive and thrive series) Your vid’s were the ones that got me into minecraft and taught me most of what I know now in game. I’m so ecstatic that your still making content this many years later

Gull eggs are only on console; they didn't add them to the PC version. Definitely check out the island with the big ship when you're ready to spend a good amount of time in the water. If you're lucky, it can contain up to four sets of tires and TONS of wooden crates.

You can actually cook 3 things at a time, or more, really. One on the spit, one attached to the fire like before you had the spit, and as many as you like on the rocks. Loving this series. Congrats on your kills, lol. 👍
You can actually pile as much meat as you want on the campfire. Just hold your meat, stand over your fire and drop it or drop it on the ground and 1 by 1 move it on top of the fire. It will all cook. 🥩🥩🥩

The large crabs are pretty easy to hunt. Just stay behind them and wack them with your axe.
Be careful not to let your pork rot again! XP Probably a good idea to make a smoker on every island.
Hey do you think when starting you world you should try to go to another island for your main island rather than your starter ? EDIT ( also thanks for the videos you have been putting out 😊 I love the length of them)

I'm pretty sure, you have to check your traps regularly, for them to be effective.

If you sneak up and stab the crabs in the back you can make them run and finish them off stabbing from behind.
