This wasn't on the internet, but some one I know got embarrassingly exposed. (Well, embarrassing for them, it was awesome for me.) A couple people I'd recently made friends with asked where I was from, so I told them. This guy called me a liar and said, "You're not from there, you're from here." Apparently, me asking why I would lie about something like that wasn't reasonable enough for him, and he ended up airing his grievance to the wrong person. My aunt met with him in person to discuss a few issues concerning me, and she said, "I was there when she was being born, therefore I saw her being born there. You, sir, are the liar." And then, she went on a tangent about how one of my so-called friends I'd just made was bullying me, and that he needed to confront her and be more supportive of me, or she would. Best aunt ever.

I understand the rest but 3:54 isn't really caught someone lying depending on what way you see it, the person who posted the image might see it as 'oh just a meme i'm posting.' Though other people might see it as 'Oh I drink, and i've seen stuff in my life.' He also might just be a fan of the movie/series and might of just wanted to make a funny joke, but it really does depend.

While an online news outlet created a fake news story about how Tom Hanks allegedly died from the corona virus but in actual fact he only had mild symptoms of the virus at the time and was released from hospital to as he had almost fully recovered! :)

Let's assume it's from the States or the UK. In the US of A, the rules vary from state to state but since 2010, 30% of the states have said no-one under the age of 21 can consume alcohol, 34% have no rules regarding the minimum age of consumption (but are still bound by the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984), and 36% of the states say that for a person under the age of 21 to consume alcohol, they must be accompanied by a family member/guardian or in certain locations.

In the England, where I live and have worked as a manager and Landlord of a couple of public houses, individuals are allowed to consume alochol in the form of cider, beer, or wine from the age of 16 - whereas the minimum age to purchase alcohol is 18. In the privacy of their own home (or anywhere that is not accessible to the public) the minimum drinking age is just 5 years old. The same applies in Wales.
In Scotland, the minimum age to purchase alcohol is 18, but there is NO minimum age for consumption anywhere where there is no access to the public. In Northern Ireland it's the same - illegal to purchase or consume alcohol in public under the age of 18, but in private there is no minimum age limit.
And yeah, I doubt the OP actually posted it as serious content... (FWIW I was out drinking in bars at the age of 14 - I know this is anecdotal, but it's a fairly normal thing for people in the UK to drink underage - around 50% of underage girls drink, and approximately 35% of underage lads drink, according to one study conducted in the UK)

My husband had a coworker that lied about everything he had. My husband has been to his house before and the guy would post pets, cars, a man cave, furniture, endless things that he had that he really didn’t. Each time my husband called him out on it, the liar would message my husband and be like “haha I just thought it was cool” or “it’s my aunts dog” after we found everything on google m lol I’m not sure what people get from lying over and over

That kind of thing happened to me once. Someone on the internet stole pictures my mother took of me and my sisters and claimed us to be their children. My mother instinctively called the out for it and water marked the pictures so that it wouldn't happen again. People are both stupid and very odd.

Recently in a stream of the CZcamsr Akinsoft someone was talking a lot of bullshit and claimed to be an og.
Akin quickly replied that he was not stating he recognises an og if he sees one and non of them are talking that mutch bullshit.
Fake og stated he was long time subscriber and stated a subscription date long bevor Akin started doing vids on Minecraft.
Akin actually looked through safed data to look when the "og" subscribed and first appeared in the streams. It was I believe less than a week prior. He also checked his coins that are accumulated by watching the stream and it was barely above the minimum.
The fake og stated that was due to the fact that he resubbed, but besides that telling you that he can't bean og then, Akin said that all his appearances are remembered linked to the ID of the persons and even after a name change and resub the system will still recognise you as the exact same person.

I've been 'exposed' online by someone who stole my art and tried to pass it off as theirs. Needless to say I exposed them for being an art thief.
I've had one of these moments. I used to manage a kitchen at a place that provided free meals twice a day for people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or really anyone. Someone on Twitter, who I didn't know, posted something to "warn the public" about our deplorable health and cleanliness standards. Including a photo of a kitchen that was not ours, with several hints as to why it could not possible be. I also included an actual photo of the kitchen we did use, which honestly was probably the cleanest of any I have ever worked in. The tweet was soon deleted, but my amusement remains intact.

I could see why the guy was claiming that IKEA couldn't have the Swedish flag at the same height as the American flag because it's true..... for US states flag. The idiot should have done some research because only US state flags cannot be at the same height as the American flag with the exception of Texas because Texas was the only US state to be its own independent nation. That's why Texas refers itself as the lone star state and why Texas is the only state that has its pledge of allegiance recited in schools along with the US pledge of allegiance as well.
