- The Mk7 was previously broken (unfortunately, not in an overpowered way) and it's finally fixed. It's now a BEAST. See pinned comment. The weapon is unfortunately not entirely fixed yet.
As for the Double Barrel, it ain't no Doom Super Shotgun as its range is abysmal. Still good fun. They just need to fix the glitch that pulls your camera down if you swap to melee right after shooting.

Hi everyone,
I've updated the thumbnail of the video, which previously said, "PSA: TACAXE MK 7 IS GOOD NOW." Unfortunately, the fix for the TACAXE MK 7 wasn’t complete.
While the L2 attack now has better range, it still misses if you have attack speed buffs like Fury of the Faithful or Inexorable Judgement. The attack speed buffs mean the L2 attack can be cancelled into L3 before it hits, causing it to miss. Therefore, the weapon is still unreliable.

I apologize for missing this in my testing, and hopefully people can see this post so they won't be misinformed by what I've said in the video!
On that note, I am kind of disappointed that Fatshark can't seem to ever fix things properly..
I just rolled a 380 MK7 with 80 finesse on my psyker and it just looks weird when I do the L2,L3 its so fast I don't even see it swing it feels like it just skips it and puts me in some odd loop... I am assuming this is what you're talking about because it just doesn't feel right.
Yup, weapon works fine and dandy until you give it too much attack speed.
Welp I spend so much resources to roll a perfect one lol. I had fun with it though anyways. Will try to roll an Mk4 now, see if it makes an difference afterall. At least we know it's broken!
Dang, sorry to hear that.. Well keep holding onto it, it might just become extremely good when it's fully fixed!
Tactical axes are my go to melee weapons for pretty much all my classes, I usually run it with head taker and brutal momentum to one shot a cluster of like 5 shotgunners, there is no other blessing that can do that except with bromentum.
I love my tacaxe zealot build. My best axe doesn't seem to have this problem. Thank the emperor.
I miss the Antax combat axe with my old zealot build where you could heal your entire hp lol. Maybe it was broken, but it was awesome.
Antax is still good, Rashad's generally better though!

Plays one of the hardest special conditions in the game, and takes only 7 damage at the end of it while topping DPS.
WHAT.THE.FUCK.
Management of your surroundings, pushing, dodging, blocking, and keeping your toughness at 100% all the time will allow you to take little to no damage. A lot of people complain about this too, they forget there are tools that exist to prevent it lol.
I was going for a no damage run and failed. =(

Unfortunately the L2 is still bugged at higher attack speeds. If you charge and then spam lights at an enemy, the L2 will just glide right through them dealing no damage.
Would you recommend it over the MK 2 now?
Mk 2 is the worst variant. Its light attacks have absolutely no cleave whatsoever. You can play with Brutal Momentum by spamming heavies, but then you won't be attacking nearly as fast (and way lower DPS).
With that said, this build still makes the Mk 2 good (as shown in czcams.com/video/o423OMdk_AQ/video.html), but you're better off picking 4 or 7.
I need more time to test whether 4 or 7 is the real king of Tacaxes, but you can't go wrong with either of them.

Mk IV is currently the only good tac axe as the Mk VII has a bugged L2 attack
Yeah, that's what the patch fixed. L2 can hit now, instead of being RNG like before.
@Caecilius_Iucundus I've played quite a few games with it by now. I didn't notice something being off. Damage seemed pretty good.
@@adriank7576 go into the psykanium with TAC 7 & chastise. Try spamming lights against a crusher after charging. The L2 will do no damage sometimes (inconsistent)
Psa tac axes are even harder on your fingers than the knife with knife you do a lot of light spam vs hordes with tac axes you only lightspam vs pretty much everything so prep your fingers or get a macro

Yep, chat is broken YET AGAIN. I have to wonder what level of spaghetti code they have that an update fucks with their in game chat consistently.
Don't quote me on this, but I've heard that the chat function is outsourced. They couldn't even bother to put in a proper chat themselves apparently..

You dont have to do that I found manstopper yesterday and ive only been looking for 3 days. All u gotta do is find a shotgun with flak or maniac and change the blessings.
At the end of the day it's still about luck.. Too frustrated with the current crafting to bother lol.
@@xstreamdray i still find god rolls all the time. Found a god roll autopistol the other day and I just found a branx in the shop and got lucky with it. I have tons of god rolls that i didnt spend 20 million ordos and 30 million plasteel to find. It just takes time. I find the craziest gear after playing one more game at 3 in the morning all the time and checking the shop. I spent months not at all engaging with brunts and checking shop constantly. Definitely takes luck tho im still missing blessings and I have more than a thousand games on xbox. Finding serviceable weapons isnt difficult but finding blessings is and thats with me playing multiple characters which alot of people havent put the time into but I dont blame them. Sucks when you first start out you have such little resources but thats partly due to low difficulties barely giving anything. Atleast new players have heretic idols cuz we sure didnt.
