Who is demanding an independent country ? All active groups have compromised. All the nscn groups have signed agreements to resolve the issue without sovereignty or integration. So who is demanding naga independence? Don't be fooled by "shared sovereignty" or "shared independence" narrative. Sovereignty is absolute. "Shared sovereignty" is a psuedo-sovereinty lol. The relationship between the central govt and the states can also be called shared sovereignty. The center has its powers so does the states. We also have "shared constitution" which lists out the powers of the central govt and the powers of the states. There is also the concurrent list which both can meddle in. An agreement must be arrived at asap.
