I stayed for five days in Bora Bora Island in February 2016 but unfortunately It was the rainy season, so the flight conditions were not good.Only managed a few short flights.

This video is breathtaking. The music, the language, the scenes. Bora Bora is absolutely beautiful. The gorgeous blue, clear ocean. The lovely white sand. The tropical palm trees. The mountains in the background. The weather.
People that were born in Bora Bora are blessed!
I will go here someday. I don't care how much it costs or what it takes- this is better than paradise.

Rainy season or not - this was absolutely gorgeous. Bora Bora is a wonder of nature, definitely on my bucket list! I want to celebrate our 7th anniversary there in a couple years. You did a great job in the video. Congrats!

Beautiful views. Question for you, I will be in Bora Bora in January 2020, do you need a special permission to use a small drone to take similar footage? I will be taking DJI mini which I understand I don’t even need to register it. Please help.
Beautiful footage! We were there at the same time you captured this (too much rain!). But we were told by the Four Seasons drones were prohibited. Did St. Regis allow this or were you being sneaky somehow?

The fact that is in the middle of "nowhere" is probably one of the reasons why it's stayed so beautiful. Too far for many people to want to go too, and too expensive for many people's tastes. That's why I like it.

Any problems from the resorts flying your drone? We are staying at four seasons and they said its prohibited on their resorts?
Actualy I didn't use my drone at Four Seasons because of weather conditions.since my all flights were from St Regis only on my overwater villa.

I think one would get a debate on which is the best, though most rankings show that the Four Seasons is the best in Bora Bora. It's all fairly subjective I guess though. One man's apple, is another man's orange...etc. Personally speaking, I think the St. Regis grounds are more beautiful. I also think that most all the of St. Regis' room accommodations are slightly better priced than the Four Seasons. The space-to-cost ratio at the St. Regis seems better. I don't think you can go too wrong with either resort. But that said, as with everything in life, one can run into negative hotel experiences on a given day, or given stay, so it all has to be taken into account, and not rule one place in or out based on a small sample size of a review or two. If one is looking to save a bit, I think the InterContinental resort, the Conrad, and also the Le Meridien are also good choices. If I read it correctly, according the a 2019 TRIP ADVISOR ranking went as follows... #1- Four Seasons Resort, #2 - St. Regis Resort, #3 - Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa, #4 - InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort, #5 - Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort. The Conrad is much more updated and bettered designed than the InterContinental Le Moana though, so I would have them at #3 or #4 in my book just because they are more updated.
