I agree...it does look somewhat like the Tahoma Field Knife by Andy Tran. Made in Taiwan, but it is a real nice design, and seemingly a good knife at a decent price. I think that I like the Tops Moccasin Ranger a bit more, and it seemed to perform a little better based upon your demonstration.
Really like the aesthetics on that. Don’t know why... probably because they didn’t do anything crazy with it! Like the removable scales. I see they also offer a slightly different model with a very high sabre, nearly a full flat. Might be better for bushcrafty stuff, but then again, you sure didn’t have any trouble feather sticking with that.
How does the blade edge retention stack up against a 1095 Cro-Van steal? I am skeptical of stainless steel blades. Also is there a knife that in your opinion tops the Tahoma kinfe?
Why can’t any CZcamsd reviewing knives just say feather sticks instead of them saying you fine work bc they never do any other fine kind of work besides feather sticks.
Still making vids!!! Hell yes
Oh yes I'm still putting out content. Thanks for checking in!

That 1/4 inch of steel is milled in all the right places on the Ranger.

Handles felt well. No hot spots and no hand shock. Thanks for watching.

Hi Jon. This looks a lot like a Tahoma field knife. Did you notice the similarities? How does it compare head to head? As always, quality stuff!
They do look a bit similar but the handle is different and the top forward tip is not sharp.
Will you do a head to head between them? I don't quite understand the difference between the two steels.
I will at a later date.
Dude it's like a refined Tahoma Field Knife, sadly is out of stock too bad I watched the video late
What firesteel is that?
You get the Lanzeta yet?
Not yet but I would love to review that one.

I see acid wash finish on the website. Is that a coating?
No it has a wash to it.
