Thats why they call it a Mcdouble, double equals 2.🥺. People complain about McDonalds costs, but if you would use the app and watch for specials you would not spend so much. If you are waiting for the $1 dollar menu to come back, you are living in a fantasy land. Even stuff in the Dollar store isn't a dollar anymore. Here’s my justified tip: Step 1 - Find a BK and McDonalds preferably near each other and have both apps downloaded Step 2 - On Wednesdays, you can get a Whopper (regular or impossible) for $3 from BK. And McDonalds Large Fries can be had daily for $1.50 so that’s about $5 with tax for a LARGE FRY and Whopper. If you can wait 10 minutes (time restriction to use multiple offers in the app for McD), you can use their other offer for half price on a 10 piece nugget for $2.
@@ltzJB Yea, deals are set by the store owners, some owners own multiple stores. Near me we have 2 McDonalds in the same zipcode/city less than a mile apart with wildly different prices for items and both are always packed as they're in near shopping centers.
They should just honestly discontinue the small fries, except for happy meals. It’s such a sad amount of fries, I’d rather have nothing at all. With only a few pieces, the taste would make you crave more, but it’ll be gone before you’re satisfied 😂
I worked at McDonald’s six months ago and their kids fries is this tiny red container but you get three apple slices. Back in my day their small fries were in the kids meal. I was always getting in trouble for using the wrong container! 😂

So many people complaining in the comments. But it's $5 for 4 items, so $1.25 each, basically a modern $1 menu but forced into a bundle. That chicken sandwich is probably very dense because they would have used as little chicken as possible and made the batter over it really thick to cut cost, but give the illusion that the customer is getting more for their money. It will be spongy because thick batter never fries and crisps properly

My location has the McDouble one for $5 as well. Justified especially considering you can sub in mac sauce and add shredded lettuce to make it into a poor man’s Big Mac.
Wendy’s is now $7 in my area (Los Angeles) so hell yeah McDonald’s is worth it lol
