I just did one side of my chair and it was too tight. So when I cut the other side to do that side it was to far away. Then I went to CZcams and found your video. You explained the process and had good close up shots which were very helpful.
Now I can go back and do it over and not get frustrated with it. Thank you!!

This was the best, most informative video on how to fix my favorite yard chair! You've got great presentation and you showed all the steps without wasting time. Thank you so much!
Also in a totally non creepy way you seem super awesome and I wish you were my grandpa 😅

A man after my own heart. Fix your own stuff and do it right. Even better for putting this out there for others to see and learn. Well done Sir! 👍

Terrific video! Instructions did not come in the kit from Amazon. There are instructions on the site where these are sold but they are incredibly confusing. I have re-laced our chaise lounges now twice because it's that easy. Because of your video, I now understand what to do with the ends and where to double up on the seat part. Thank you.

Is this chair from Home Depot? How long did it last before the cords started breaking? Just got one of these with similar cord design where ot goes single to double in spots. Curious how long before cords may need replacing.

      Great questions!
It's been a while so not sure where we bought them
About 4 years in direct sun
I found different lacing patterns as well, so tried to match the style on the chair
      Hope that helps!
And thanks for watching and commenting 👍

We think we got ours from Kohls, longer than 5 years ago. They are still available, even cheaper than when we bought them. The cords do not last well when in dry, sunny weather.
