As I was thinking about this sermon tonight, it reminded me about a quote that I came up with years ago that I tell myself every day to get through my hardships. "We are all God's masterpieces, and he is molding us into the person we are meant to be." ❤
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7 : 14
With that teaching, you can find healing...period!🕊️🦈🦈🕊️

You've just described me. After decades of fighting one battle after another, with only a few brief moments of rest in between... I'm crushed. Beyond exhaustion. Beyond broken. Crushed. And like you, I hate to feel defeated. I hate to feel weak and beat down. So, every time I fight to get back up and refuse to let the devil win. But... how many times can a person be beat down, to near death even, before they just can't fight back or get back up anymore? I have been crying out to God my entire life but all He's done is throw me a towel back at me to wipe my face and get back in the ring. I don't understand. Yet, more than a lack of understanding, is the lack of will to keep fighting. Idk. I know God works in His time, not mine, but.... Lord, if You don't intervene and make something beautiful out of this dust I've now become very very soon, I don't want to keep existing any longer.

Not many can relate to what you describe here - decades long, back to back, relentless adversity and utter crushing. I unfortunately, can. I refuse to give up and I refuse to become bitter or hold unforgiveness towards those who have wronged me in horrendous ways. I ask the Lord not only why & when, but also what is the purpose and what am I supposed to learn, including asking Him to show me where I may have contributed to some of it myself or could’ve handled some things better or how I can allow Him to use my brokenness to minister to others with true empathy. I don’t have the time to go into depth, but I understand the depth of agony and even confusion at God seemingly unconcerned with us feeling like we’re nearly drowning in an ocean of sorrow and suffering. David experienced this, so did Job and even Naomi. They were all overwhelmed and poured their deep despair out to theLord. Though He SEEMED afar off, we can see by the ultimate outcome that He was there all along, weaving a beautiful tapestry with the ashes of their broken lives. He didn’t condemn them for not perceiving the good He was devising behind the scenes. He did not smite them for expressing anger, disappointment and doubt. He patiently endured being misunderstood and mischaracterized by those who simply FELT abandoned and unloved by Him. Like someone said, when you can’t trace God’s hand, trustHis HEART. Whatever you do, run to Him, keep turning to Him, even if it’s hard, but don’t turn away. He is the only One Who truly understands the depth of our suffering as He called the Man of Sorrows. He alone can make something absolutely beautiful out of a broken heart. Again, see the outcome of David’s, Job’s, Naomi’s, Joseph,s, suffering. Suffering is part of the life journey of a true child of God, but He is our Companion, our Comforter through it all and it is not our final destination. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Sometimes it seems like the night lasts forever, but hold on, morning is coming!! It’s inevitable. The cross was followed by Jesus’ Resurrection,

I’m dealing with good breaking this is fiery fiery fiery great and super extremely extremely extremely powerful. And I trust my Jesus completely no matter what happens in the future :)And I’m not going to question My Jesus ever because Jesus has got everything in the Palms of His hands:) And in the 8-nine years I thank God for my singleness it’s an amazing gift:) that’s been given to me by God himself:)And serving Jesus in full time church ministry is so so so much fun:) and I’m not stopping ever Jesus :)@TFH_OC
