Wtf , they have shown stereotypes of every religion and culture in India! For crying out loud Zoya is a muslim herself. Also polygamy is supposedly acceptable to Islam, that is not the case with other religions.
It is acceptable in Islam because we also want to give the second wife equal rights as the first .... in other religion its not accepted toh kya faida hua ... ultimately they are also marrying multiple women but giving the rights only to one ... and treating others as prostitutes or mistress

Some Muslim woke spokesperson emphasizes this fact by ye toh Allah ki den hai , and the same children who are deprived of love , affection, care and proper education are misguided. Just see the clips of recent riots majority consist of teenagers

Atleast in the case of muslims.... children from second marrige have thier rights... they have thier fathers name ... they have a share in thier fathers property .. they have an identity

Polygamy is also allowed to certain tribes in Orissa, North east states of India. It's just not about Muslims.

UCC is applied on each and every section why these section gets more pain.

If Muslim goes against constitution, judiciary is there to decide and give necessary punishment for that. The mechanism to make the ucc laws is itself a much complicated and most challenging thing in a heterogeneous society like ours, it's next to impossible. Ucc comes under DPSP, and freedom of religion comes under FR. According SC, Fundamental Rights would prevail over the DPSP in case of conflict between the two. FR is far far more powerful than that of DPSPs.
Polygamy is legal only for muslims, for the rest like north east tribes that have been mentioned in this video, it's illegal but still practised outside law, same as dowry is practised. There's a difference b/w the two.

@@atharvvinod7817 Brother it's very simple! FR is above DPSPs, and SC has also said that FR would prevail over Dpsp. Yes Dpsp has many good things which could be adopted for a better society, but when it contradicts with FR that too with Freedom of religion, that won't suit for India. And for shariah law, Muslim doesn't ask you(non-Muslims) to follow Shariah law nor harm you when we follow it. What is the issue, then? Would you agree to be made that ucc law based on Muslim or christian teachings? If it comes out against hindu laws, would you agree that? Definitely you won't, the same goes with other religions also. Ucc is not suited for India.

So in the entire two seasons of made in heaven, the makers have shown so many societal problems mostly based on hindus and then they show just one problem based on a muslim family and the quint is triggered...

Its good Made in Heaven opened up this topic, not only muslims follow polygamy, but womens rights is almost non existent when it comes to property and inheritance.

Muslims are put to scrutiny because they practice it as a religious right/sanction.
This is also why the character played by Diya Mirza gives the example of slavery being abolished but not polygamy, because Muslims see slavery as a cultural practice that can be changed but they don’t think the same way about polygamy.
