I love my TNT. For whatever reason, i have done well with balls that were less than enthusiastically received. I went to see JR about a benchmark ball, and this is the last one that he suggested. I bought it almost as an impulse buy, and I’m incredibly happy that I did. Depending on the pattern’s length and oil volume, It’s become the first ball out about 60% of the time. Thank you, JR, you do phenomenal work! I’ll probably be over some time soon to grab a Duo from RG. Love the channels!!!
The video I’ve been waiting on. Thanks
CTD all the Way JR, glad your on the Team
Picked mine up on Monday. 45x45x 4 is the layout. 259, 300, 202 for 761 out of the box with it. Kept it out of box surface
Nice Creating the Difference patch!!
i just got this and the eternity. You are 100% right the eternity has alot more backend. I might mess with the surface on the tnt and see if that helps for me, im not sold on it yet.
Cool tech bowling Jr Raymond
My tnt is drill 45x5x50 and surfaced preped at 500 grit then 4000 and it rolls really well for me
Tnt it's dynomite tnt it's out of sight this ball kicks but.like how it doesn't jerk off the pattern.jr you do a great job with these videos. Roto grip and 900 global make great balls.
Do you think the Roto Grip TNT and Roto Grip Gem are relative to each other in the way they move?
Ball is 🔥
I'm planning on getting a Mid/Upper Symetrical Solid and Pearl. Looking at Roto Grip Idol Helios and Idol Cosmos. Just wondering if I should go with the TNT instead of the Helios.
I'm waiting to see your review of the Primal Shock...
A clean straight ball, nice for down and in strokers.
What kind of tea do you use on your fingers? And do they grip or slide?
Do you think the TNT is comparable to the old DareDevil then? That ball was a money maker in my bag at one time!
I'm still using my Dare Devil. Thing still rocks the deck too.
Is this a good upgrade from the Hustle Camo? Can this be thrown as a straight ball? :-) 👍
Weird, your ball looks polished compared to my TNT...mine is dull with no reflection on it. Out of the box is 2000 grit but the scanner had it at 5000...does it really lane shine that fast?
Keep up great work from Todd Blohm
What did you change in your span
How does this compare to the gb4 solid?
If I'm not mistaken, isn't this ball supposed to be sanded to 2,000 out of the factory? Seems to me that 5,000 is a little high for this and you would see a lot more reaction and pick-up if it was sanded to the proper finish.
I'm a right handed backup bowler, just ordered this ball. Would be nice to see a backup bowler who's not 2 handed give some advice on this ball and others. Your videos help the most though with ball reviews. Also a fellow CTD staffer here. Keep up the great videos
My left hand comes off the ball as it comes into my backswing, so I don't see myself as 2 handed. What stumps me is my backup balls often hook more than my regular righty throws, I was playing about 16 at the arrows with a Brunswick laser. Resin is usually too much ball for me but my backups looked okay with an old Super Cuda/C, and that might have some resemblance to the TNT.
Is that TNT lane shine?
Bring back the daredevil in a hybrid cover stock
I feel all ball companies are putting out too many new balls. You buy one and a few weeks later here comes another ball.
You don’t have to buy every release.
5,000 grit.... Sounds like the factory is still failing to get their surface prep right OOB. Sand that sucker to the 2,000 grit it's suppose to be at
I am not sure I see the TNT as a house shot killer but more of a tough pattern ball when the oil is 42-45 feet in length. The only video where it looked good from deeper was Luke's video after they did a surface refresh on it and James did a part 2 session. Ball looked completely different. But I still think this is going to be that ball for fresh conditions when the pattern is flatter when you can square up in the track and control the pocket.
Silly question perhaps… do you do these reviews very early as it seems centre is almost always super empty…
I am sorta surprised to see you wiping the oil off the ball after all the videos you made saying it makes no difference or it even hurts your game to wipe your balls of. I am not bashing on you for it because I think it is a good thing to do but I was just surprised.
Well that’s not what I said. I explained the effects to each and when I would or wouldn’t wipe it
Thanks for the review. This ball just doesn't suit my eye.
