  • Taking things apart on my gyrocopter so I can to the 25, 50, and 100 hour inspection and maintenance. After going through the inspection list ordered about $600 worth of bolts, barry mounts, rod end bearings, and other misc. stuff from Aircraft Spruce.

And that original Subaru is way under powered that's why RAF updated too the 135 EJ22 then the EJ25 and if the rotor blades are the original with the kit those are to be immediately replaced RAf recall they are not safe too fly!!!!!!

Hi Shawn. Yes I read about the rotor blade and hub replacement so that's on the list along with the other 39 service bulletins. I'm still trying to come up with a way to reinforce the bubble that won't be too intrusive on the view. As for engine I'm hoping the power will be adequate for solo operation.

@@Lawspeed1 if you look at a newer RAF cabin you'll see how they split the front windshield and the back with a strip of fiberglass that's how RAF solved it that Subaru motor will do solo but it's not a good motor get your self fuel injected EJ25 parts are easy to get and the motor is solid if not make sure to practice engine out on take off actually that's regardless of engine but fuel injection solves carb icing might be cheaper to sell it and get the modern version lots of unfinished kits out there
