It's funny that the Metroid Prime 4 Daily News meme Twitter account actually made me realize you how good us Metroid fans have been eating all things considered. Since Prime 4 was first teased, we've seen the release of Samus Returns, Dread, their respective amiibo and special editions, Prime Remastered, and now have nearly the entire 2D series playable on Nintendo Switch. If we're feeling generous and let Federation Force stand with the rest, we've been getting a fairly steady stream of Metroid since 2016. Though Prime 4 has been dangling overhead for seven years it could be so much worse.
