Excellent 1st reaction to Angelina! I have been following her for a little over 10 years now, and still, after your first time hearing her, you reflect my thoughts and feelings to a tee. What you said about Diana and Dimash too. I DO actually listen to Diana from time to time, and I actually appreciate her quite a bit, but I have yet to listen to Dimash outside of reactions to him. But do I think that technically speaking he is the best on the planet ?? Absolutely no question about it in my mind. But he doesn't TOUCH me. Neither does Diana, but I like what she does. Absolute truth be told, only Angelina can reach me the way she does. But don't ask me EXACTLY why that is, except for the reasons you mention yourself. But I know for a fact that there is another factor at play as well, but I just can't for the life of me define it or put my finger on it. It would be completely impossible for me to convey to another person exactly what I feel. It's a mix of SO incredibly many emotions; it's a crazy mix. I just hope you'll stay with her long enough to understand more of where I come from. And the rest of her fans as well. And I know that all of us will say pretty much exactly what I just said. One thing you must know about Angelina. Sure Dimash is Dimash but also he is almost 30 so we cant really go there. Diana has some cool vocal tricks but it is not everyone tea either. With Angelina you must know that she doesnt sing to you, but they say she sings for you, not just that its deeper Angelina sing into your soul, your very being. You feel her words down into the core of yourself.
If you're not a crier, she will make you well up.

She is known as the "Girl with 1000 Voices" & Amy Winehouse is one of those voices. Amy is definitely one of her influences, but so is Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Adele, Whitney Houston, Lana Del Rey & about 50 other legendary singers over the last 100 years of American Music. Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James,Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.
Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official CZcams channel on March 29th, 2024.
Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!

1. Gloomy Sunday, her 2013 audition to Norway's Got Talent, when she was 7, which was aired in 2014 and then immediatly went viral.
2. Fly Me to the Moon, live on The View, was her US debut later in 2014, and also went viral. It gathered more than 37 Million views on CZcams, and many more on Facebook.

Norwegian born Angelina Jordan began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even stated at 8 years old that she would be donating her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.
Angelina captures hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity.

Like few artists, she has performed for the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 8 and 17. And 2 shows in Las Vegas ... She is 18 today. 250 songs both covers and original to listen to! She has had many live performances. She was signed to Republic Records at age 14!

Brian May and Queen were so impressed that they gave her the copywrite to her rendition of the song. Angelina is 18 today, she has done a lot of covers on her channel, and released an original EP last year. She got her love for the classic music she performs from her grandmother, Meri. She is from Norway, competed on Norway's Got Talent at age 7, won at age 8.
So you want more from her. Go back in time first and check out her cover of "I Put A Spell On You" at age 9. Also at this AGT Champions, the cover of Elton's "Yellow Brick Road". I think that the expression on your face is a mirror of all of us, the first time we hear this young woman sing. The passion and empathy she puts into every song that she sings is truly astonishing. And, as good as she was as a child, she is only getting better.

She's been singing publicly since she was 7 and she entered Norway's Got Talent at 7 years old and she won the Show. She's now 18 (Jan 10th, 2024) so if you want to, you have 11 years of 'astonishing' music to listen to. You got a feel for her soulfulness here and that jazzy sound combined with soulfulness makes for a voice so unique no one can compare to her. There's so much for you to learn about her but I'll let Angelina 'take it from here'. Angelina has been performing on stage and in the studio since she was 7 years old she won Norway's got talent at 8 years old she has more than 200+ CZcams performances covers and originals not a bad song among them. She released a 6 song EP in july 2023 all originals all of them brilliant IMO, the EP is called OLD ENOUGH. She also performed at the Westgate theater in Las Vegas on 29th Feb 2024, same place Elvis had his residency she is 18 years old. (can you name any other 18year old who has done that) The EP is on CZcams and Spotify and the Las Vegas show songs are on CZcams

All her stuff hits you like youve heard it forr decades the quality is so grounded in the great singers and great songbook classic getting a breath of fresh aair. Melvin, pleased to meet you bro. I have substantial hearing loss from Metallica and Disturbed. My right ear is worse from Judas Priest "double - live" in my car. I found Angelina 6 1/2 years ago and never looked back. Shes a miracle and she made me a better person. The first time I cried since 1996 is when Angelina walked out on stage in New Hampshire back in September. It just came out and I couldnt stop. Please keep going with her. In addition to school she got also vocal training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program (I read, that this school said, they couldn't teach her more stuff because she has all learned what she could learn in this school ;-) ) - and btw. she plays also grand piano, violin, flute and guitar, make her arrangements herself, wrote a book, sew clothes for herself (partly with art from her grandma like in her first AGT performance and in her music video "Shield").
So, she is a real all-rounder and I think all her fans are eager to see and hear what she is doing next...

You are correct about her entirely. Depends if you want to go back to the beginning and watch her growth or dive into more current. She has done Amy W covers. You may want to wait on those.
