    I'm a massive fan of smoothie bowls for breakfast and Buddha bowls for dinner or lunch. Love hummus, leftover oven-baked mixed veg. And pomegranates in a Buddha bowl

    I'm a student on a budget and having different types of Buddha bowls nearly every day for lunch because there are just so many ways to do it! My favourite dressing is a tahini dressing it takes your bowl to a whole other level! Thanks for the inspiration I defenitely need to try These!!

    I dig these kinds of bowls they make such easy lunches and dinners, I love all of your mixes and I also like to add in things like roasted beets,roasted broccoli and cauliflower,hummus or tahini dressings. The combos are endless fun!

    Looks so good, the colours are fantastic and this is so important: a delish both for the eyes and the belly! I love toasted seeds on my bowls, like pumpkin or sunflower seeds, or here, I'd toast the cashews a bit, it takes it to "a whole other level" like you guys say often! Thanks for the videos and books with easy recipes, your work is very inspiring, cheers from France!

    I like the look of the first one with Japanese pumpkin (the Aussie name for it!). My 2 year old will love the variety. I would add walnuts for crunch. Cheers boys!

    Second one's my favourite, thanks a million guys! :) I usually make my bowl with quinoa, cucumber, avocado, red sauerkraut, pulled oyster mushrooms with tahini soy sauce.

    First discovered Kabocha when I was studying abroad in Japan :) It's Japanese for "pumpkin!" I was like "whooaa this is what pumpkin tastes like?? Why don't we use it in stir fries in america??"

    +The Happy Pear I do these all the time. My favourite is brown rice, black beans, sweetcorn, roasted mushrooms (spice them with chilli, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano & celery salt), watercress &spinach and a load of salsa. but I will often do them with harissa roasted chickpeas & sauerkraut, spicy salty thing goes really well

      +The Happy Pear give those mushrooms a try, spices & a touch of oil then a hot oven for about 25 mins and they're pure awesome

    Very cool buddha bowls :-) actually the red kraut is calles Rotkraut, not Sauerkraut. Sauerkraut is always made from the white kraut :-D. Traditionally we like to use apples with our Rotkraut in Germany. Some like to add a little cloves or nutmeg in it too. :-) I like my Buddha bowls with brown basmati rice, chickpeas, tomatoes, spinach, olives and red onions. I like to make some kind of dressing with tahini, tamari sauce, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, some mustard and herbs. :-) Love from Germany, Christina

    Nice! I have a new addition to my budda bowls. I had leftover brown lentils and a heated them up in a skillet with red onion and added a spicy Asian peanut sauce... I'll be doing that again! Soooooooooo gooooooooood :P

      The Happy Pear we are vegan for 18 years and raw vegan just 8 years ago , we enjoyed bathe dishes raw and cook no eggs and oil in cooking just plain water and spices of cos onion and garlic cos we are not pure vegan

    hey Dave and Steve! Love your channel, I'm on my third week of being vegan and have learned a lot from you guys. I'm wondering why you use oil sometimes though? My understanding is it can be just as bad for your heart health as some meat and dairy! please let me know if i'm wrong! :)

      asliuf they may not be vegan for health reasons. There is such a thing a being vegan for the animals. I avoid oil, too, so I know where you are coming from, but my hope is that people will become vegan for more than just the health benefits.

    Does a Buddha bowl has to be stricktly vegan? Or could you also make it vegetarian? I'm a vegetarian myself, I just can't skip my cheeses out of my diet... I'm thinking of a crumbled feta cheese topping for example or tiny mozzarella balls :) love easy, quick and dynamic videos boys! You are a huge sorce of inspiration!       some were hot and some were cold. The leftovers are usually cold but you can definitely reheat things.

      Don't count calories! Stay between 20 to 40 grams of carbohydrates each day. Green veggies are basically unlimited.
