Its good that you specify that The Overvoid only contain the real world and all fiction in the context of the story. I hate when people talk like comics are beyond the real world, because that implies that comic writers are gods beyond the real world, which is just silly. Great video

I appreciate that, its all about the word context. Of course, the Monitor Mind is just a reference to the Unified Field in context and not the actual thing...but who knows, maybe these events did take place. In theory, according to M-theory, all possibilities did already play out in the field somewhere so maybe this is real...:D

Ye like... For example, Grant Morrisons Philosophy extends into the real world via the usage of Hyperobject-like concepts. BUT It's just his philosophy and thus cannot be stated as definitive reality.
AKA The closest to real world comics can get is Interactionist Philosophy which is unprovable inheritantly.
And at that point you might aswell claim a spaghetti monster in the comic can obide by the same rules. XD

A fictional realism with nonlocal interactions of sorts. And if true this would indicate, a relative realism which is a interesting thought.

They both are two completely different voids. Death metal overvoid is the same void that lucifer flew into. That void contains many universes and realities and even superman survied in it.
Final crisis overvoid is literal blank and non existent which contains the entire DC. And no one can get in there
