    I think the real issue is a manufacturing defect. Sure, just reset your lights that are 30 feet up on your house every time the power blinks, or the light stays on all night even though set to be off all night unless motion. Nice Product Not.

      Heck mine has worked since it was installed. There’s a slight glow in the middle, won’t even do anything in test mode. Taking it back this weekend.

    Is there really no way to reset it without going through this process? I have two of these lights, and I need a ladder to reach one, EVERY time we lose power (or someone turns it off at the switch.) Living in Florida, power interruptions are a fact of life. The two lights behave identically, so this strikes me as a glaring design flaw rather than a manufacturing defect.

    Great vid’👍 our issue pertains to the nuisance of the light not obeying its settings. Namely, it turns on for quite short bursts, then turns off. So, of the 3 settings: day/night, duration and movement sensitivity, the duration of the light being on is pretty brief (set to max on time). Any suggestions?

    Do bulbs matter? Both of my bulbs burnt out (at different times) and I finally got around to getting new ones, got them put in, and it works on test mode but refuses to come on any normal way when out of test mode. Thanks for the video.

    I hear a click in mine for the light to come on with motion but no lights come on. One of the times it clicked there was a quick and dim flash from the Led's. Any ideas?

    Cant get mine to turn on and stay on if your itting outside turn thr switch off then back on nothing happens

    Mine is driving me crazy. It works in test mode day or night, turns on when it detects someone in the path. But when I set it to how long to stay on when triggered, when it detects something in the path both flood lights blink a couple of times then go out. Move in the path same thing.
    What do you think is wrong with it? I’m going to try the reset in test mode to if this straightens it out.

      @@SirBuzz Feel for ya. Almost a year later and mine hasn’t been resolved and I did all I could with my limited electrical prowess. It works but it also goes on in daylight.

      I just had one installed yesterday, never came on last night. From what I am reading here I’m better off taking it down and getting my money back. Total upset and a waste of money having someone install it for me and now removing it to install a different one.

    this one doesn't look like mine. I have 3 buttons all need a flat screw driver to turn, one says "LUX" one says "SENS" and one says "TIME"

    can pir sensor sense moving vehicles?

      Depending on how close the vehicle is what you have the range/distance set to, yes, it can detect the heat from a moving vehicle.

    Mine stays on all night even thought I have dusk till dawn off

      Please try resetting your fixture by following the instructions below. Please make sure the fixture is put into test mode prior to cutting power to the fixture. For SE1292 and SE1293 models, if you want the low beam area light off, change the setting to 3hrs prior to putting in test mode. Once you reset and take the fixture out of test, change the area light setting to off. The fixture should come on twice in test. Once when power is turned back on and a second time with motion. For SE1291, SE1292, and SE1293 models, if the fixture does not trigger with motion in test, still take the fixture out of test, put in desired settings, and see how the fixture operates the following evening. After this is successfully completed, you are reset, you can put in your desired settings. Do NOT leave the fixture in test. Please do NOT adjust the fixture after the reset, or toggle the wall switch. Give it at least 24 hours to reset and calibrate. If you have any issues with the fixture after or during the reset, please let me know right away.
      Please note the fixture should not operate out of test mode in daylight hours due to the built in dusk to dawn sensor. For SE1292 and SE1293 models, please note the third or fourth dial is your low beam area light. That will keep the fixture on from dusk to dawn, if you want this to operate strictly with motion, turn that setting off.
      While power is on change the area light settings to 3 hours, then put the fixture(s) into test mode.
      Turn power off for 2-3 minutes.
      Turn power on.
      Lights should come on for 15-20 seconds then shut off.
      After the lights shut off, try triggering in test. If they do not trigger that is fine.
      Take the fixtures out of test, put in your desired settings.
      Turn the area light off. Or to desired setting.
      For SE1292 and SE1293 models, it is very important that the area light is set to 3hrs before putting into test, then off after taking out of test if you want the are light feature off.

      What should we do if it works at first but the minute power is lost or someone touches the light switch it reverts back to dusk to dawn again. We just bought this 2 weeks ago

    Such confusion for such a simple tech hw for 2rd decade of 21st century. If you ask me the issue is with noobs working on projects they are NOT suitable for.
