- SEASON FINALE!! We made it!! okay first things first I wanna say sorry to everyone for the infrequent posts... I was planning on posting this one 4days after 9 but the more I edited the more difficult it seemed to be. But finally I got it done, and as of right now there are zero restrictions (fingers crossed)
This episode was definitely the craziest yet. So much happened it was near impossible to unpack it all at the time of filming. Between Stannis showing up, and Khaleesi locking away the dragons, and Brienne clapping up the Hound. All of that plus Twins unfortunate demise at the hands of his son Tyrion. This episode was bonkers. Easily my favorite of the series so far and a beautiful finish to a magnificent season. Anyways yall, it's time for Aaron and I to get into season 5!! We're hyped to the max and we just wanna thank you all for helping us get here. We love you all. Pce :)

This is where the show absolutely peaked for me. I’ll never forget the way this season made me feel the first time I watched it.
Never been so on edge and in the moment my entire life as during oberyn vs the mountain, and then we got the last two episodes of the season... This is what 4 of the best seasons of TV of all time built up to
@@Maghan98 couldn’t agree more!
same
Well it's all downhill from there, that's for sure.
Same for me!
They sent messages to everyone and Stannis was the only one to act, which tells you everything you need to know about Stannis.
NO BOOK TALK I SAY IT EVERY EPISODE BOOK TALK = REMOVAL OF COMMENT
I mean stannes only went because of melasansra and davos without them he would have ignored them like everyone else .
@@joshuasutton355what are you on about
@@akiray1999 there was book talk comments that have been removed
That he just so happened to come into an army in the immediate past, and not an army of his own people, but an army of sell-swords..?; during a time when he was already out traveling around looking to make a name for himself, trying to force his way into a new and much larger home before winter, instead of trying to prepare for winter like most people are.............?
Protip: Things that "tell you everything" or "make it all clear" are often misleading at best. No one thing tells you everything. That's why those are two different words, yea....?
Who else did you expect to answer...? The Boltons...? House Stark might have answered, except, ya know. Most of the southern population doesn't even care about the wall. Stannis does specifically because he's trying to become king of that too, so he's happy to show up and back-end everybody into owing him their lives. Who else was gonna answer..? And Stannis likely wouldn't have answered either, had he not JUST purchased an army and ALREADY been galloping around trying to take over a kingdom before winter
The Hound vs. Brienne scene is so confusing emotionally lol. I'm rooting for both every time 🤣
It's one of those fights that just is a release of every god damned frustration in the series up to this point. Just an out and out brawl, lol, I sit back and enjoy it every time too lol
I hope you guys understand how much Jaime loves his brother.
Few episodes ago Maester Aemon told Sam to send all their ravens to the great Houses to support them against the Wildlings. Stannis was the only one who answered the call.
House Manderly sure wouldn’t
I know Twyin's dead, but please never stop saying "Jaime!" in his voice. It's my favorite.
I second this hahaha
@@kohlverine6134 I THIRD THIS
Look a little doubt is understandable, but you guys were fully convinced Jaime is selling Tyrion out. I think that's a perfect example of "trying hard to get ahead of a red wedding type twist to the point of completely ignoring the story they've been telling with the character". Like what have we consistently heard about Jaime? That he loves his brother and will do anything for him. What have they been hammering in? How much it bothere Jaime to be labled as an Oathbreaker. "That's Cersei standing in the corner"...imagine what type of a goofy Bond Villain skit this would've been if Jaime Lannister walked his brother to a dark room with Cersei cackling "haha I knew you would come". Only thing missing is a red button and a shark pond. Focus on the story, it's never gonna be the same twist twice. Olly's gonna save everyone tho lol.
it does seem weird to think Jaime doesn't have Tyrion's back when just a few episodes ago he was giving up his freedom to Tywin in order to save Tyrion.
Yeah it was little bit funny about Cercei standing in the corner. Like why would she do that ? Tyrion was sentenced to die already and thats all she wants.
@@ashleyl3699 Exactly. And also 4 seasons in, it is imperative for the viewer to understand how much his reputation as an oathbreaker and a kingslayer eats Jaime alive. It's the character's fundamental basis. For a man like that to betray his own brother? No. Just no.
@@merrittfigure2924 i think a lot of the problem is a lot of viewers hear Jaime called by the title "Kingslayer" and with modern ears we interpret that as "he's a badass that is awesome and unbeatable in battle since he managed to defeat the alpha", when in feudal society it's just viewed as despicable treason to murder your king, not something cool.
Honestly, I can’t disagree with the take. Between Tyrion and Cersei, Jaime experiences a lot of internal conflict. Sure, he loves his brother, but he also loves his sister. We all know what happens in this episode; but who knows what anyone thought the first time they watched it.
This is not a story spoiler from House of the Dragon, but a very interesting line from a Targaryen King was something like, “the idea that we control the dragons is an illusion. They’re a power that man should’ve never trifled with”..
Arya not killing the hound could be interpreted in many different ways maybe she wanted him to suffer or maybe she had grown affectionate of him and had taken him off her list and thus did not want to kill him anymore. They have a complicated relationship
The Hound originally kidnapped her for the gold he wanted get for her from her mom and later from her aunt. And finally he fought to the death against Brienne because he was the right one to look over her.
1000% this could just be me, but I always felt a "porque no los dos" kinda deal in that situation. She's a human. She's not feeling this _or_ that, it's not this way OR that way, she feels conflicting things. She's aware of all the things we talk about when we talk about how she could be feeling, 'cuz she's the one feeling it. I don't think she "did it for this" or "didn't do it for that", to me that was always read as like..... the paralysis of confusion, if I can be lazy. Like she does want him punished, but she doesn't want to kill him there and then, but she doesn't trust Brienne, but she doesn't trust the Hound, but she knows he saved her when he didn't have to even when it just meant more work for him, and so much more. Like it's all that. What she does is just the honest and most direct product of all of that at once - inaction. She can't decide. So she doesn't. Yet again "life happened" and it was out of her hands and now again she just has to solemnly and slowly stand back up and keep walking. She didn't reach a hand out, but she didn't smack his away. She just stared; then got up and walked away when she was ready. Apathy. Disassociation. Choosing not to fight the tsunami of destiny this time after so many past failures. She "just can't". This or that, she just can't. She took the money 'cuz she knew she might need it, and then she left. I don't think it's any one choice/decision/motivation on her part, I think it's her giving up fighting against a wave of everything all at once
Weird analogy but if you're taking a test and a question says what color is the sky, and the options are A light blue B dark blue C black and D orange, and there's no "all of the above", then any one answer is the wrong answer, so you're just as well off giving no answer
In this case she can't both kill him and save him, but she feels both of those things, so, inaction
@@Funnystersteand it's like he's her adopted Dad
The chemistry you guys have for entertaining is UNREAL
Every scene in this episode was about children 😊
Tywins Ned and Danerys children
And.....the Children of the Forest
no spoilers! i am real excited for a later plot/character/place reveal y'all are gonna love it!
As always love it when you sing the intro...great voices gentlemen!🎶😄💚
In my opinion, this is where the storylines start really picking up. I love it all the way through the last episode. This show is pure art.
I can never understand how can anyone in the scene get the idea that jaime is selling tyrion to cersei?
I mean he already has death sentence, why would anyone make this elaborate plan to break tyrion and hand him over to cersei when he already is supposed to be killed in the morning...
Feels like the whole character layer, dynamics and depth perception is being missed..
Tyrion and Jaime farewell scene was so beautiful and emotional.. tyrion saying good bye to the only person who ever loved and supported since his chilhood was so heartbreaking and wholesome at the same time.. and it completely got ruined..
I am Aaron, Aaron is me with the emotions lmaoooo. Bruh you have me sobbing over things in a show I've watched through 15+ times, some things I didn't even cry over before!
Remember when Bran, Jojen, Meera and Hodor were being held captive at Crasters by the Nights watch mutineers and they thought they were going to die and Jojen had the vision and told them something like no not yet but you'll know when it's time all the while staring at his hand and arm which was on fire, well his prophecy came to pass because he saw his own death his sole purpose was to get Bran to the Three eyed Raven and he did that but after he got stabbed and Meera put him out of his misery the Children threw the fire bomb at his body and burnt it so he wouldn't come back and that's what Jojen saw in his Vision.
Aaron saying with confident certainty: "Nah, it can't be Stannis. It can't be Stannis."
30 seconds later: "It's Stannis."
5 seconds later (even more confidently): "Yup, I knew it. (It's Stannis)... I kinda knew..."
Mike saying "Your Grace" in Maester Pycell's voice.
I've subscribed.
Here…the ocasional comment to show support ❤
I love this episode so much just perfectly closed off a story arc
It’s a bit sad that your unwarranted suspicion of Jaime ruined that beautiful moment between him and Tyrion for you😐. It’s one of the most touching scenes and Hugs ever!

I literally get pure joy watching y’all’s reactions to GOT because they were my exact same and it’s so funny watching it. Hearing the comments and speculations and me knowing what happens gets me excited every time you both watch a new episode lmao
Aaron is going to be a mess 🤣 I can't wait lol
Edit:
I thought he'd lose it when Jon burned Ygritte.
Or when Dany, Mother of dragons, Breaker of Chains, literally chain up her children.
Or when Arya left The Hound exposed to the elements to die of thirst.
Or when Tyrion deleted Shea...
I'm a tiny bit disappointed he held it together 🤣
His time at the Wall has hardened him.
Bahahaha😂😂
Not deleted lmao
God, I forgot how amazing this episode was, every story was so good
Fun Fact - this one aired on Father's Day lol. RIP Tywinn Lanister - what excellent performances through the entire series. Respect.
This show - talk about totally switching up every storyline so we don't know where things are going for the next season. We had to wait over a year - reactors are lucky lol
I’ve watched a TON of reactions to GOT and you guys are by far the best! Thanks for always being so entertaining! I love hearing your theories and reliving all the emotions with you ❤
Yep. The Boyz are unique. What I like best is that they actually pause & not talk over the dialog, not missing important S%^&, as most reactors tend to miss on this. The entertainment mostly comes from them spitting out another long shot theory during the pause. You've got to love the deep thought process they have at all their guesses.
My boys 🥰🥰🥰 I am always talking about you guys to anyone who will listen. Like always, happy to be here with you both on a day I can take my mind off life. More comments incoming as I watch. Love you both
This episode originally aired on Father’s Day….
I laughed so hard when you said, "get your eyes off of John you crazy bitch."
I just wanted to say, I think you are both so cute, I love the way you discuss things so passionately, and you recognize all the nuance, and emotion - it's the same way I like to have conversations about movies/tv/books/music/etc, and it's not something I see very often. It's very cool. I dig it. Watching you guys is like hanging out, it's a really good time. Lately, times for me haven't been great so... you bring some levity, and a feeling like there are people out there I can relate to. Thank you. xx Peace, love, and understanding to you both.
The season starts with Tywin Lannister melting Ned's sword, at the peak of his power. Renly killed, Stannis defeated, Robb Stark murdered, Greyjoys almost forced out of the North...it felt like House Lannister was finally the unchallenged master of the Seven Kingdoms. The season ends with Tywin's downfall, not at the hand of any enemy, but brought down by his own hubris, murdered by his own son. During the last moments of his life Tywin finally has to come to terms with the fact that his grandchildren are bastards of incest. For someone who valued family legacy more than the actual family, that had to be a devastating blow knowing his grandsons were not legitimate heirs to the throne. His victory is built on quicksand. This episode is fittingly titled "The Children" for the Children of the Forest, but it's also about Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion each in their own ways rebelling against the Lannister patriarch, with the last one ending up being fatal. A season ago Tyrion had a great line, "Seven Kingdoms united in the fear of Tywin Lannister". Tywin held together a country in civil war with sheer force of personality. Now that glue is gone. Now that "gaping pit" has opened up. Now the vultures will be circling. Now it's time to see what the The Children are truly made of.
Notification squaaaaaaaaaaaaad! I'm ready! Got pasta ready hehe
I’m so jealous you guys don’t have to wait a year for season 5 😂
If I could watch a show for the first time again, it would be GoT for sure!
RE: DRAGONPIT:
In 42AC Maegar the Cruel had the Dragonpit built on Rhaenys hill in Kings Landing. It was a huge stone structure that housed all the dragons. Like a horse stable but bigger and for dragons. There were also dragon keepers which served as trainers. This is the when the dragons growth was stunted. They were kept in a closed dome. The dragon pit is in ruins now but you can still see parts of it.
“He’s gonna give him venom bro”💀💀 bros baked asf
FYI this episode originally aired on Father's Day
lol that's hilarious
Remember Dany doesn’t know anything about dragons, no family to teach her. And they really can’t train them that much.
Omg 4 seasons down!!! I’m so happy for y’all!!! Season 5 is actually my fav season of them all. It’s very dark but idk something about season 5 just makes it my favorite. Sending love like always ❤
A theme of the show is that most characters die with a sense of irony
Ned was a man of honour, died dishonorably
Lysa thrown through the moondoor etc
This episode we had Tywin, all about family-killed by his son. A man of dignity & appearances-killed on the toilet with his pants down
Shae- betrayed Tyrion for Lannister gold-strangled and killed by Lannister gold
The Hound big and strong-killed by a woman
I love ur guys energy and how ur fully immersed in the show like how everybody should watch it keep it up u just earned my sub
Daenerys locking her dragons is pretty symbolic. she used her dragons to free all those slaves and she gained her title "breaker of chains", but now she has to put her own children in chains and also the personification of her power and the power of her house. it's like she's imprisoning herself to the benefit of the people she's trying to rule, and one day that could bite her in the ass.
she's ruling a country of cruel people (don't believe in that "not all the masters were bad" thing. when you own, buy and sell someone, you're not a good person) that want to maintain that power no matter what, and she locked the only power that was holding things together
Extremely well said. I’d also add on a much simpler note…she believes they are her children. She nursed them in the books. Jorah told her in S4E1 “they’re dragons Khaleesi. They can never be tamed.”
So those two facts also shed the light she is teaching her children by punishment. While Rhaegal and Viscerion didn’t kill the little girl, mass punishment seems to be productive to get everyone in line.
@@crunchy6931 it's a complex situation. it's a good thing that she didn't ignore the danger her dragons can inflict upon other people... she did it with a good intention, to protect the citizens of meereen, that's makes her a good ruler.
at the same time, it's the most powerful and prob the only thing that can hold her leadership in slaver's bay without having to deal with rebelions and schemes from the masters, what people can't see is that when she uses her dragons to reaffirm her position and her authority she's not being a tyrant, she's only preventing an oppressive system to return. the only way to stop the masters from doing what they were doing is by using force. there shouldn't be a transition between a system of slavery and without slavery, cause slavery shouldn't exist in all it's forms (in season 6 that one character implies that the masters should have a period of 7 years to end the practice, while all the former slaves starts to get desperate only by thinking in the possibility of returning to be a slave).
in the books Daenerys has been trying to be diplomatic for AGES and nothing ever changes (but now she sees she must go fire&blood on those people). in season 5 Daenerys will start to learn that, it's a grow up for her character.

Great reaction, though Hodor wouldnt stand a chance against the Mountain, even if he was being controlled by Bran. The Mountains skill level, equipment and experience is so vastly superior, and hes also stronger.
I knew this would be a fun episode to watch with these guys, the reactions are great, so much happens that changes the whole dynamic of the tale, Tywin getting plugged was well deserved though I did actually like Tywin, cunning, ruthless mastermind that he is he still got caught slipping, and where will Tyrion go now? A somber and powerful scene, both actors had a great rapport as uncomfortable as they portrayed their relationship, great acting. Varys begins to reveal more of his inner character and principles, those actions put his life in mortal peril, quite a bold move, maybe Varys is not so bad after all. Looking forward to the next season with y'all, thanks, peace!
I think Peter Dinklage won the best actor Emmy for this season that year.
“He’s going Slim Shady”
Howland Reed, who was the father of Jojen and Maira, was Ned Starks best friend.
Drogon definitely didn't intend to kill a child. He most likely got reckless cooking his food or the child ran too close. Breaks my heart seeing Dany chain her dragons. Especially the two that did nothing.
Drogon didn't eat any child lol we've seen how careless he can get when cooking a goat. The dragons are highly intelligent, you should know they wouldn't just start eating kids.
Another outstanding reaction Busters 😎
Season 4 is a favorite of mine no doubt but Season 6...???
I loved Aaron's "Peter Pan" reaction to the Children of the Forest.
Daenerys's Children are her Dragons "they are the only children she will ever have"
You guys were absolutely right about so many theories this Season. Awesome job...👍👍
Everything is changing like you just said so get ready again for that monster Rollercoaster Ride also know as Season 5. Enjoy Peace and Love✌️ 💕
Great job Boyz. Mike great call on the ship going to Bravos, then again you made about 20 guesses this episode, you were bound to hit one. I had to give you a shot since I gave one to Aaron a few episodes ago. Hahaha!
Season 4 is in the books, best season yet of the GOT series.
However, there were some holes in the first 4 seasons, but too few people magnified them under a microscope, like many did from the start of season 6, when the screenwriters took over the story, since there wasn't any more book material to go off of. This episode left some particular dialog unanswered as to what happened to the 400 Wildlings that were sent to climb (Mance said that most would survive the climb) an unmanned wall the moment Mance realized that the wall was manned by too few people. There should of been about 50 men of the Nightwatch left at Castle Black, as they had 102 before the first raid. Less Ser Alistar & less Jon, it would of been highly unlikely that the remaining Nightswatch would of survived an onslaught, since they did not do such a good job in hand to hand combat against Tormund's (Redhead Wildling) crew who scaled the wall. So how did Jon, Stannis & party arrive to Castle Black, where there were no signs of any after effects of a second battle there? Woops!
the little girl must have been playing with the goats or sheep when Drogon roasted the herd for dinner . he's so big
Omg the laughing when they said Bran will fly 😂😂🤣 made me laugh so much
Tywin always lusted for the throne. In the end he died on a throne of a much different kind. Beautiful
RIP Hound and Tywin.
Don't forget that the actors for Jon Snow and Ygritte got married (and are still married) in real life after meeting via GoT.
Lmao I loved the little run with the theme song
What an excellent emotionally charged end to an incredible roller coster season. For so long everyone always worry and predict that the Lannisters will kill Shae, it's just that they all end up being wrong about WHICH Lannister.😭
Reading the comments you guys are just not listening to us. JAMIE LOVES TYRON. Second only to Cersei and sometimes maybe even more. Because Cersei isn't even love any more. Cerse is an addiction for Jamie. Most of us all have had a relationship like that where we are more addicted to someone than love them.
Tywin my favourite character and the one who i believed that could defeat danaerys and his dragons. Btw i wanted him to survive a little to see how he would have dealt with cersei
I love that this episode aired on Father's Day June 15, 2014.
Arya isn't leaving the Hound to die because of some misguided act of mercy. She's leaving him, cold-heartedly to die on his own because she hates him
the hound is one of my favorite characters so losing him was so tough. but that scene is so powerful and great. the visceral battle between 2 characters i like was both great and difficult to watch. then Arya choosing not to kill the hound is so hard to watch. I also still don't know for sure if it was because she couldn't do it or because she wanted him to suffer. i want to believe she couldn't do it and that's what i think is the right choice because in the end while flawed he is a pretty good man, at least in the context of this show. but it's still hard to tell for me
The Three Eyed Raven, the last great role of the late, great Max von Sydow.
I’m here for the singing and the singing ONLY

A frequent reaction i had in this show that I've never really had with any other show is "well now what?" I had that reaction after seasons 3, 4, and 5.
This is why season 4 is my favorite season of GOT!! It’s just so well written!! The children refers to the children of the forest that Bran met. I felt so bad for the dragons being locked up for something they didn’t do 😢 she’s trying to protect the people from her dragons. The Targaryens definitely kept their dragons in a dragon pit to also protect the people but locking them up stunts their growth. If they are fed well while locked up they won’t want to hunt. They talk about this more in the history & lore for season 4 it’s of my fav history & lores. That was a werewood tree like they have in winterfell. No the Reeds were good & loyal bannermen to house Stark their father loved Ned like a brother. The hound & brienne’s fight is my fav 1v1 fight! Brienne is that bitch!! Jaime would never betray Tyrion for Cersei. Varys definitely was involved & Tyrion ruined it by seeking Tywin. Shae was the worst! Now Varys has to run with him or be executed for letting Tywin’s murderer go.
The outro music with chorus was phenomenal. 🎼
The problem with dragons is that you can’t really train them, they are not dogs; and dragons are not slaves, they do whatever they want.
-Ur no son of mine! JAMIE!
