Do you bake the pieces on the tile, or do you transfer the piece to a piece of paper on top of the tile to bake?

I personally bake right on the tile so that I don’t run the risk of disrupting how my pieces look. Between my long nails and clumsy hands, my pieces will get poked and dented in some way if I try to move them 🤣. However Baking on paper is a great way to leach the oils out so you don’t end up with shiny backs on your clay.

Did you make the hole for the key ring before or after baking?

@@Havenwood_Homestead if you have a drill you can make the hole post-bake like I did here. However making the hole pre-bake with a toothpick is just as efficient 💗 it really comes down to preference. 😊
