Yes it works with chest carts too, but it will stop working if the cart enters unloaded chunks. So you have to launch the chest cart then travel with it too for it to stay loaded
Sure, all my creations are meant to be shared, thats why I release downloads. All I ask is for some credit. You may need to fix it though. I'm not sure if the newer updates have broken it, though the concept should still work.
