    FULL RECIPE
    IKEA ALMOND CAKE
    INGREDIENTS:
    For the cake layers:
    200 g (7 oz) almonds
    2 tbsp powdered sugar
    5 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    100 g (3,5 oz) granulated sugar
    For the frosting:
    5 egg yolks
    1 tbsp vanilla extract
    100 g (3,5 oz) granulated sugar
    200 ml heavy cream
    150 g (5 oz )unsalted butter
    For the decoration:
    100 g (3,5 oz) almond petals
    PREPARATION:
    Prepare two 24 cm diameter molds with baking paper. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Grind almonds with powdered sugar. Powdered sugar helps to ground almonds into dry flour.
    Whip the egg whites and pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Add the sugar and continue whipping until the sugar is completely dissolved. Gently fold the almond flour into the egg whites, mix gently. Divide the batter in half and pour into prepared two molds. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
    For the frosting, in a saucepan mix heavy cream, vanilla extract and granulated sugar. Warm the mixture until sugar dissolved. Beat the egg yolks and pour into the warm mixture. Continue to heat while stirring constantly for about 7-8 minutes. Dont let it boil, it should steam, but not bubble. Cover the cream with plastic wrap and leave to cool to room temperature. Butter (room temperature) beat until smooth. Add the chilled cream and mix well.
    For the decoration, fry the almonds petals on a dry pan. To assemble, put the first layer of cake on a serving plate, then spread a half of the frosting. Put the second layer of cake on top and remaining frosting. Sprinkle the almonds petals. Set the cake into the refrigerator for several hour or overnight.
    RECEPT:
    IKEA BADEM TORTA
    SASTOJCI:
    Za kore:
    200 g badema
    2 žlice šećera u prahu
    5 bjelanjaka
    prstohvat soli
    100 g šećera
    Za kremu:
    200 ml vrhnja za šlag
    1 žlica ekstrakta vanilije
    100 g šećera
    5 žumanjaka
    150 g maslaca
    Za dekoraciju:
    100 g listića badema
    PRIPREMA:
    Pripremite dva kalupa promjera 24 cm sa papirom za pečenje. Zagrijte pećnicu na 175°C.
    Sameljite bademe zajedno sa šećerom u prahu. Šećer u prahu pomaže samljeti bademe u suho bademovo brašno.
    Umutite bjelanjke i prstohvat soli. Dodajte šećer i nastavite miksati dok se šećer potpuno ne otopi. Dodajte bademovo brašno u bjelanjke, lagano ih umiješajte pomoću špatule. Podijelite tijesto na pola i izlijte u pripremljena dva kalupa. Pecite 25 minuta u zagrijanoj pećnici na 175°C.
    Za kremu, pomiješajte vrhnje za šlag, ekstrakt vanilije i šećer. Zagrijte smjesu dok se šećer ne otopi. Umutite žumanjke i ulijte u zagrijanu smjesu. Nastavite grijati uz neprestano miješanje oko 7-8 minuta. Ne dozvolite da kuha, trebao bi se samo grijati, ali ne sa mjehurićima. Kremu prekrijte prozirnom folijom i ostavite da se ohladi na sobnoj temperaturi. Maslac (sobne temperature) izmiksajte, postepeno dodajte ohlađenu kremu i sjedinite.
    Za dekoraciju, pržite listiće badema na suhoj tavi. Stavite prvu koru na stalak za tortu, a zatim rasporedite polovicu kreme. Stavite drugu kloru, namažite ostatak kreme i zagladite. Pospite listićima badema. Stavite tortu u hladnjak na nekoliko sati ili preko noći.

      @@GrgaKlara Of course I am but I wanted to ask you something for that cake. Why didn't you put any powdered sugar while you were whisking the whipping cream? From my point of you it won't be sweet enough because you used bitter chocolate. May I use milk chocolate instead of bitter chocolate? I tried that cake one week ago but I had a problem with the baking pan it was 28cm and it was baked in 15 minutes and there wasn't any cream inside like yours. I'll try it once more with the suitable baking pan. I'm going to subscribe at once, thank you very much , indeed...

      Chocolate wave cake.... I did not add powdered sugar because this cream is a delicious, very chocolate-flavored, classic ganache cream. If you like sweet, you can add powdered sugar. You can also work with milk chocolate, but then the ratio is different-you have to add 600 g milk chocolate and 300 ml whipped cream.
      Chocolate wave cake has one biscuit and one layer of ganache cream on it. No cream inside. It just looks like that when you cut it. The size of the mold (26 or 28 cm) will not affect.

    Hvala puno na receptu, dugo razmišljam o ovoj tortici 🍰, zanima me samo u vezi vrhnja..može li mliječno vrhnje ili ide biljno, ono koje obično ima u sebi dodatke koji omogućavaju lakše mućenje u šlag? I u vezi rerne , moja je klasična, bez ventilatora pa se bojim da zbog toga korice od bjelanaca na ovim temperaturama ispadnu nekako tanke...hvala unaprijed 😊

    This cake could classify as keto if you replace the sugar with either xylitol or erythritol. You should put that substitution in your video and put in the word keto in your description. It you would get a lot more views and likes. 👍🏻 it looks absolutely delicious!

    Looks wonderful! But I have a question: are you sure you mean a tablespoonful, i.e. 15ml., of vanilla? That sounds like too much. Maybe you mean a teaspoonful, 5ml? A teaspoonful is what it looked like too.

      you can use the water of canned chickpea, whip it till it is reached the desired consistency it can be a good substitute for egg white.

    This is not a good recipe, I made it and it didn’t come out good. Whereas I tried another one on CZcams of the same cake after this disaster and it turned out amazing . I am really sad I wasted so many ingredients.

    I dont recommend anyone to make this cake. It so gross and not delicious at all. I mean, for frosting is butter with yolks (plus cream and sugar, but it doesnt make a difference). Feeling bad for wasting my time on this, but al least i know what not to make anymore. I googled another recepies of ikea cake and they are all the same. So no.

      Adna, avant de faire une recette il faut analyser, personnellement je savais qu'avec le beurre je n'aimerai pas, il faut donc modifier un peu la crème 😄😄😄
