I got it new on the lot from from a dealer in Wisconsin in October 2019. I did most of the upgrades/conversion before the start of the pandemic which was fortunate because some days I would be at home depot and ace like 5 times!
It was just windowless cargo van. The heater, roof vent and windows were installed by a pro because I was not comfortable putting a big holes in the roof/walls or punching a hole in the gas tank - otherwise all of the other work was done by me. I learned a lot along the way from CZcams and Google searching. I have become a bit of a cellular expert and I would consider myself an amateur carpenter and electrician.
Take a look at the channel for other van videos. Detailed tour and internet setup videos.

Whats your favorite part of the van? I think mine is the windows. Adding those was a game changer!
Love it!
Thanks!!
“Cribs Pimp My Ride” Kufrin style!
lol just need Xzibit!
You're a lot like me. I did a load of videos about how I outfitted my Promaster in like 2018, you might want to check out (scroll, scroll, scroll down).
I don't have the Starlink yet, but that's on the list.
Cool. Thanks for watching. I will definitely check out your channel. Since making this video not much has changed other than flat-mounting my starlink and wiring the cable permanently through the roof. Im kicking off my next project this weekend. Finally getting the upper side walls and roof insulated (with thinsulate). I have put it off long enough. 😬 The webasto heater is great, but I lose a lot of heat to the metal walls and it takes longer to warm up. Should make for more comfortable winter excursions to the Sierra Nevada mountains! 😃
I did Polyiso on the roof. It's a total pain, but it's bulletproof now. I would think it'd be cheaper to do polyiso than Thinsulate.
I only used Thinsulate in the nooks and crannies that wouldn't accommodate the polyiso.
A good way to make polyiso curve is to use a couple layers of thinner board.

Great video! :) I actually bought two rolls of thinsulate when I partially completed the insulation last year. Have been sitting on a 30ft roll and some remnants of the other roll since then. I'm already sorta committed to the thinsulate. 🤓
