Would like to have a little segment (2 mins or so) at the front of these videos discussing the results of last race's predictions, especially the more subjective ones. You can end that with the new points total and have that be more prominent. Although entertaining, the predictions videos feel pretty "fire and forget" right now.

@@greenfj1466 that’s why it is crazy prediction ;) Yours is realistic prediction. Damn - I feel sorry for the guy and situation he is right now, but it would still be funny if he crashed a lil here and there and damaged another Williams chassis. Just for entertainment purposes. Williams made a mistake by signing him for a second year, might aswell suffer a bit more now.

I have a gut feeling this will be the craziest race in a while. With dnf’s, crashed in front of the field and a red flag in the race which will shuffle the positions. P1: Sainz, P2: Russell, P3: Piastri

Format idea: maybe you could take turns each race, to be the first who chooses, such that the other one can’t take the same prediction, I think that would spice up at least the race result format, as one of you would be forced to chose not max. Thank you for the great content 🙌

I don't know who will be the biggest surprise but I'm pretty confident the biggest flop will be Zhou, he's got all the pressure in the world on him being from China and it won't be a flop by his standards he'll probably finish around P16-12 but with the expectations on him in his home race it'll be seen as a flop by media

LOL Comics summed up most races pretty well by having Max at the grid with a stereo to play his anthem to the other drivers disgust, then as the races starts says "mate mate" like the Roadrunner and is gone.

Red Bull don't hate China. They used to run low downforce and still maintain there corner speeds especially through the first corners and the sweepers.

Crazy prediction: someone out of Red Bull, Mclaren or Ferrari gets eliminated in Q1.
Won't be by pure speed, this driver won't be able to set a good enough banker lap and something will happen during the last run that will end up eliminating him
When it comes to Alpine / Renault the logic "It can't get any worse" is not a sane reason to choose them as biggest best surprise. With there lack of straight line mumbo this track is going to be very difficult for them.
Here’s what they should do. They should qualify like normal, but on Friday. This will be the grid for the race on Sunday. Saturday will be reversed grid for the sprint.
I get your point. Problem is that the weaker teams will be fighting for who's last during qualifying. Or some might even not set a time at all. Everything just to be on pole for the sprint.

First time F1 are visiting China in 5 years and there's only 1 practice session.
Crazy prediction: We'll see no overtaking on track between turns 2 and 13 after lap 1. Everything will be between the back straight and turn 1.
I forgot it's a sprint weekend. Which means I'm off doing something else on Saturday.

They changed the schedule. You can just watch qualifying at its regular Saturday slot and pretend this sprint nonsense didn't happen.

The track should suit ferrari way better than suzuka. I think the will be on paar with Red Bull just like Australia. Front limited circuit. Cold weather therefore graining is main focus ( Red Bull is more sensible to that). Ferrari has a chance here.

I saw a stat, presuming its correct that Max has won 50% of all the races since we last raced in China. Considering he was on 5 last time we were there is crazy
Leclerc needs to understand the tyre warm up better then he'll be back to top row, where he belongs. after that, his race pace, with the exception of the first race where he had breaks issue, has pretty much been only second to Max. he's been amazing. but if Carlos qualifies again ahead of him, he'll finish behind as Ferrari will dictate from the pit.
Tbh Apart from Bahrain I think charles has been doing a better job than Max in the races its just that Max has the better car but knowing Max he will get better as the car gets better
If you actually bothered looking at the lap times, you will not say that Charles was faster than Carlos in any race other than Bahrain. I think Charles had a really underrated performance there
@@preethasjenarthan5411 ??Your comment makes no sense,Charles was faster than carlos in Australia because in the first stint the gap between them was 6 seconds because Charles was stuck behind norris but by the end he was 2 seconds behind Carlos which Automatically makes him faster.In suzuka when you start 8th and finish 5.7 seconds behind yout teammate who started 4th then its obvious that charles was faster but if you still dont believe me then when Charles got in clean air away from Alonso and Piastri in the first stint the gap to Carlos was 7 seconds and if it decreases by the end then it makes charles automatically faster
@@greenfj1466 in Australia behind Norris? Did you forget Carlos pulled away to nearly 10 seconds in the second stint? There was also a VSC that brought the gap between Carlos and Charles down. I admit only in the last stint Charles was faster. Even Charles admitted that he was slower than Carlos throughout the course of the race. Also in Suzuka, you forget that Carlos had to overcome an additional pitstop (that’s an additional 22 seconds) + having to overtake multiple cars in both stints + opened up a gap of 5 seconds by the end of the race. Carlos also started on used mediums vs Charles on new mediums.

1:10 funny how things go sometimes, I can see the Alpine factory from where I am and just as you said this a lightning hit the Alpine sing, frogs where falling from the skies, and about a gazillion angrily screaming ghosts escaped out of some old chest.

Also: Did I just miss it or didn't you tell us? I stumbled upon a Podcast last week, hosted by an angry Irish mad lad and a Scottish bloke with a habit of pouring fuel over the fire that is his co-hosts relation to other people. Matt, Eddy Jordan even called you a d*ck or something like that, it must have been the proudest moment in your life. Hearing that I felt like the opposite of schadenfreude, I was thinking "man, you guys made it! You are F1 people now and I was there along the ride".
