Thanks! Those instructions that come with the incubator are useless, this video helped a lot.. out of 15 eggs, 6 made it. And yesterday I put 15 more and hopefully we have a few more. (Definitely will buy a thermometer for humidity).
@@elenat9855 hey! So I tried a second time and out of 15 eggs, 7 made it 😅 I put warm water every day until the line of water gets to the bottom of the holes. (Not sure if it’s the right amount but it worked for me)
I got it I find mine works wonders always get high hatch rate with it and I payed £29 eBay few months back only thing is need to up temp slightly to get correct temp inside
I have 2 of these...the rollers can be a pain..I had to get out the dremel to doctor it up..I kn oi w theres a way to set the hi and low alarm..for heat and humidity..
Charlotte Stuchbery hi there, thanks 😊. To start with i would put half a squeezy bottle in both water holes at the side and see what humidity you get. It’s a case of playing with the water and opening/closing the vent at the top until you get the right humidity. I had it around 50-60% for first 18 days and 70-80% until hatching 🐣, which should be tomorrow 😁🐓. Best of luck, let me know how you get on 👍
We tested 6 duck eggs and finally got 4 little ducks. During the period, the frequency of replenishing water is higher than we thought, so as to ensure the humidity.

Hi thank you for putting a video on, I'm having trouble with mine, the roller isn't turning at all, I've marked the 1roll and set a camera up and it doesn't move at all, would you know how to reset the system at all, I'm manual moving the eggs ATM but it's a pain when I'm at work thanks
Hi Sam, I have had this problem as well after 2-3 times of using it. I did get it working again after trying a few things. I would recommend: 1. Check the rollers are well pushed down and the end of the rollers are in between the grooves on the yellow turning bar. 2. If you have recently cleaned it with water, some may be trapped or the connectors may be damp, so leave it next to a heat source or warm room for 24 hours and try again. 3. Make sure the power lead is well connected to the incubator top. 4. Check the yellow roller bar to make sure nothing is trapped underneath, this will stop it turning. 5. Follow instructions on the video to set the rolling time to maximum and see f it makes a difference. I did all these steps before mine started working again so I hope this works for you 😁. If not the motor may be broken. Best of luck 🤞 🐣 x
Just a question i hsame model. Im the states so to make the rolling pins roll it says Connect the wires press down the increase button and then touch the light switch. I saw them roll however you're right about them rolling slow. My question is can you make them roll faster?
Thank you for this video. I just got mine yesterday and left it overnight at set temp/hum to let it settle in. However, even though I adjust the turning time etc, the light showing it’s active does not turn on. Should I just trust it?🙈 the light does come on when I use the manual rotation (which I found out was pressing the “+” once.
hey, did you sort it out? i was wondering the same, i came back after few hours just to see the eggs in the same position. i read it in manual it says something about turning the eggs automatically left and right so the end position should be the same i guess? i'm a bit worried tho i need confirmation!! 😟
Hi there , we’ve just got our incubator ( and eggs) and I just want to clarify a couple of things . 1) when you talk about just leaving the setting on the P menu you said just leave it . Does this mean leave it on zero? Also F menu I’m a bit confused by as well . Thanks in advance
The instruction that came with it was so bad. My temperature keeps going up and down. And I set as you showed. Also do you have the eggs standing up or lying. First time for doing anything like this. So I'm very unsure.
Hi Linda, I have the eggs lying down on the rollers. I find the temperature can fluctuate when using the incubator in winter or if the room is cold. It works best when the room is at a constant temperature around 21-23 degrees. I closed the top vent leaving only a small gap which helps to keep the temperature up until day 18, hope this helps 😊
Hi Laura, well I guess bubble wrap would add some insulation. Maybe another idea would be to put it in the box it came in, and pack cotton wool underneath and around the incubator sides and back. 🤔. Hope this helps 😁x
@@urbanchickendude2027 of course the box got tossed too! I found it too complicated to use so it sat for a long time! I can always make a bit of a box with some styrofoam. Duct tape is amazing! Thanks for the response and the video!
Hi, I was wondering if the settings on these films were fine for eggs & hatched out OK? I have this incubator & it's the 1st time I have tried to incubate eggs. I've followed the set up from the film cos the instructions with incubator were confusing. Any info would be gratefully received as this is my 1st time to try hatch eggs 😊

RPGstorm hi, the hatching was okay thanks 🐣. I ended up with 3 chicks which I thought was okay but I will do better second time with experience of the incubator. Yes they are resting on their side which I didn’t like, had 2 eggs which didn’t hatch and had the air sacks on the side 😔. The next time I will move the top end of the rollers up slightly so it will be sloping and keep the pointy end down.

I had 5/12 hatch and the incubator was wonderful! I have the same incubator and I forget what button was to turn the eggs 😅

Incubators often need calibrating. If your thermometer is correct outside, you probably need to check calibration on the incubator.

Fill the small tray for first 15-18 days depending on the eggs your hatching then fill the second also during the lockdown period
