    Some info from Axial Racing:
    The RR10 Bomber build-it-yourself kit is loaded with features allowing you to customize it and add your own electronics for the ultimate rock racer! Building on the current, successful ready-to-run model, this kit version includes a wide variety of desirable option parts that deliver next level performance and durability. Hard anodized aluminum suspension links, hard anodized aluminum steering links, long travel rear sway bar, hardened steel universal axles allowing up to 50 degrees of steering, aluminum lower link plates, and King adjustable machined aluminum shocks, all riding on sticky BFGoodrich® Baja T/A® KR2 tires wrapped around 2.2 Walker Evans Racing beadlock wheels. We've also included heavy duty bevel gears in the front and rear axles for improved gear mesh, and increased strength.
    FULL TUBE FRAME COMPOSITE CHASSIS
    The most realistic high strength composite tube frame chassis. Our high strength composite plastic is impact resistant to help protect the RR10 from crash damage.
    KING ADJUSTABLE MACHINED ALUMINUM SHOCKS
    The included aluminum King Shocks feature precision machined pistons which offer smooth performance throughout the range of travel. Made to tight tolerances, these aluminum shocks feature clear coated polished aluminum bodies, machined aluminum caps and aluminum preload spacers for precision shock adjustments. The rear shocks are mounted on the links rather than at the axle, allowing for more suspension travel which is better for high speed handling.
    REALISTIC SCALE DETAILS
    Realistic scale details include molded driver figures, three pairs of helmets, molded shock reservoirs, a fuel cell, Bomber Fabrication body panels, two full color decal sheets with enough graphics for two completely unique looks, and a fully licensed scale tube chassis.

    That's Cool I really like that light bar it's super bright and learned something new I didn't know Team Associated made anything like that. Thanks for sharing it with us.

      Me too - Never knew Team Associated had these until I visited their site one day

    Will the light bar work on the Capra?

  • @theibault
    @theibault Před 8 lety

    This build is coming along so well. I have the longer light bar on the way for my Yeti Score truck. I might get some others for other cars too.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 8 lety

      Yep, I'll be mounting that longer one on my Score as well. the brackets in the bag will work well

  • @WillemScheij

    I got the 170mm one for my custom trophy truck.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety +1

      Nice! Yeah, I have thought about putting it on my SCORE truck....but it will need to be custom fitted to not stick up too high

    It's like looking into the sun.

    You think I can mount this on the top of the bumper on the traxxas ford raptor?

  • @RSmerlinRS
    @RSmerlinRS Před 7 lety

    that LED bar sounds like a steal :) i guess certain LEDs are getting cheaper

    • @RSmerlinRS
      @RSmerlinRS Před 7 lety

      wouldnt that many of those LEDs (the biggest one) create a bit of heat? ive got high powered pushbike headlights running at 8.6v li-ion and on high brightness setting they can get quite hot

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety

      Yeah, way down. If you compare the Vanquish licensed aluminum RI lightbars, they're about $70. Pro-Line's plastic curved is about $60 and now these although they're stamped aluminum, they're under $30 for the largest.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety

      Yes, they do get hot. Not motor hot, but def over 100 degrees F

  • @metalmac
    @metalmac Před 8 lety

    Very nice LED bar, look like the Vanquish ones !!
    I had a question for you, are you going to make a running video of your Spawnzilla one day ?? 'cause this build kind of remind me the wraith one you did

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 8 lety

      Yeah, very close to the Vanquish - just without the licensing! lol Yes, there will be a running video of the Spawnzilla - hopefully soon. I'm building the SCORE truck as another channel showcase rig and once All three are done, they will be run

    Awesome bomber and great video helped a lot. Do you know which one of the team associated light bar fits the scx10 jeep rubicon?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety +1

      The largest one might.....but you'll have to get creative on mounting it...they're universal lights, not meant for a specific rig

    Dude that's looking nice! I am looking for a good light solution for my SCX10 II. After seing this build
    kinda wished I put my money into a RR10. lol Thanks for sharing!

    • @TheRCNetwork

      RR10 is a fun build, but the SCX10ii is great also!

    How did this hold up to running on 11.1v? I was going to run it off my 7.2v BEC.

    Looking good Rich. Do they give you a specific lumen out put?

    • @TheRCNetwork

      It's not rated with those specs....It's bright though! lol

  • @Timmybill12345
    @Timmybill12345 Před 8 lety

    Hey rich I do a lot of club racking and am currently running the spectrum dx4c remora and last night in the fist heat the spring snapped that holds the wheel in a neutral position. I have been looking around for a new remote but now I kinda need one. Which remote would you recommend running? I don't want to go broke buying a remote like the 4-6 hundred dollar remotes that are out there now days. So what would you recommend with out breaking the bank?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 8 lety

      Bang for the buck - The Airtronics MT-4 is a great radio - usually on sale for about $199. It's only short comings is that additional receivers are $89-99. When you go from the Spektrum you were using to the Airtronics - you'll notice a HUGE improvement of felling connected to the vehicle and zero delay (I went from a DX3r-pro to the MT-4)

  • @akura2
    @akura2 Před 6 lety

    Did you run it directly off the battery or through the receiver?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 6 lety

      receiver

    • @akura2
      @akura2 Před 6 lety

      The RCNetwork so how is the 11v getting to the lights? You said they were so bright because they were running off your three-cell “3s LiPo coming out!” “Blinded by that 3s LiPo...”

  • @dylansinge6799
    @dylansinge6799 Před 7 lety

    Hay can you please respond can it run on 7.2V NIMH battery

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety +1

      +Dylan Singe sure, but running Lipo, especially higher voltage like a 3s, 11.1v will bring up the performance quite a bit

    • @dylansinge6799
      @dylansinge6799 Před 7 lety

      thx

    • @dylansinge6799
      @dylansinge6799 Před 7 lety

      and what if i soldered it straight to the battery

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety

      Dylan Singe it sure why you would do that.....plus how would you charge the battery....

    • @dylansinge6799
      @dylansinge6799 Před 7 lety

      i have a way to do it i did it to my scx10 jeep and it worked when i pluged the battery in the lights turned on but thx you are a big help 😊

    Hey Rich. Love your videos. Highest quality of all the RC CZcamsrs by very far. Curious if you know if these lights are waterproof/resistant? I'm trying to decide between your setup and this setup: www.rpphobby.com/product_p/gea1312.htm My two concerns are water proofing and battery drain. Any idea which lights would be easier on the batteries? Thanks in advance for your help 👍🏼

    • @seamus_o_ra
      @seamus_o_ra Před 6 lety

      I guess durability is the other concern (for not only weather resistance, but roll-overs as well)

  • @darweez
    @darweez Před 7 lety

    ran for a few minutes. it killed all power to my receiver. I then unplugged the light and power came back on. hmmmm?

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  Před 7 lety +1

      It probably has to do with the compatibility/BEC power of your ESC. Basically, your light was taking too much power causing your ESC to black/brown out. You may need to install an External BEC like the Castle 10amp to make everything happy
