I hated this map 20 years ago...and I still hate it now
I just beat both skate tours on THPS 1+2 and I think the draw distance on the old version makes goals easier to see. It can be a little overwhelming just having everything thrown at you all at once in the new one.

Played this level for my first time in August 2001 in Ocean City, New Jersey. The seagulls in this level sounded just like they did on OCNJ around the boardwalk. Just went to Venice Beach for my first time the other day on March 24th, 2022. Walked on the beach in street clothes to the ocean lol - where you would be out of bounds in this level when you first touch the sand lol
I've been playing this game over a year and i never knew what venice ledge was. It's so funny skating whole map tailsliding everything you see 😂

Not an very hard level. It's the perfect place to grind and trick your way in a combo. Oh, make sure you wake Ollie the bum up too while your at it.

Hardest secret tape to get in the game
Why are 4 out of the 5 Bums in the map missing in my Game? I am playing it one the PS1
You have to do it in order
3:16 I cannot get enough speed to land this at all, what am I doing wrong?
Try to jump sideways, just on the edge of the ramp. Try it several time and you'll see it gets easy, I was stuck right there too...
wow, i was recently getting back to playing this 20 year old game. and here you are playing this as well, stuck with this same problem.
I am having the same issue this is just ridiculous. I’ve made it twice just BARELY and it didn’t count it both times even though I earned points
When you spawn turn right, and grind the wall and fences while doing an impossible to gain speed then hop off when close to the quarter pipe and sideways jump. Took me a good few attempts
@@Shorty_Hutch Think this is the best explaination, you have to be sure to have your special meter activated before you do the jump, since it increases your speed (and remember, go sideways).
