I'm relatively new to Dota played around 30-60 games and ice been play dazzle alot. Lots of my mates are against it but I really like his abilities so I'm watching in hope of being better than my friends while playing dazzle even though they have 1000s of hours. Dazzle!

Heal or harm! I am Ancient rank now, and I got there Very fast in my opinion.
About my purchase; I prefer "glimmer", because in low rank "Invisibility = immortality".
I know "ghost" is cheaper when "glimmer", but "glimmer" give you ability to sawe yours Allies O_o ,and if enemies bought "Dust of Appearance" they lose 1 slot and 80 gold only to may kill you (if in your team no Invisibility Allies)...
If in my team any Allies have arcane boots ro any mana given spell, i skip boots and start bought early glimmer on the line (in early game no one wants to lose 80 gold)...
It's your decision to bought "glimmer" or "ghost" but for me glimmer is The best choice!

As a newly born dazzle lover, I really enjoy your videos.
I am only Crusader rank so no big brain things here, but would you mind giving me your opinion on Holy Locket on Dazzle? I never see you buy it and it is also not recommended in any guides but wouldnt that be a very good item for dazzle?
I feel like the amount of healing I do is quiet high, so increasing it seems like a good thing to do, plus it probably helps to get people that are close to zero at the end of grave to... not immidiately die.
Never tried it so far as I am insecure and usually build what the guides say (do you have an ingame guide btw?) but in theory it seems like a good pick?
Also, do you know if Holy locket increases the damage done by Shadow Wave?
Thank you for the kind words!!! Crusader is a very good rank!! Currently, Holy Locket isn't the best item for Dazzle because of a few reasons:
1. It only upgrades Dazzle's defensive potential (so no it sadly doesn't increase shadow wave damage).
2. It is expensive for supports. 2050 gold (assuming you bought stick) is not a cheap item for supports. It's like getting midas but without the attack speed.
3. It doesn't give you any additional abilities. It only enhaces what you already do. So something like a glimmer cape would give you invisibility and a shield. A lot of times, you'll be silenced or stunned, which loses Dazzles fights. So most of the time, you'll have to get an item that solves problems that the other team is presenting rather than just making your heal better.
4. Going along with #3, it doesn't force the enemy to adjust to their items. For example, if you bought ghost scepter against a weaver or a blink Ursa, they would have to buy nullifier to kill you. Locket isn't good enough to where enemies would have to buy like a skadi or vessel to counter you.
5. The upside is capped. Locket upgrades you for like 10-15 minutes and then damage numbers in the game become too high to out-heal. Aghs on Dazzle is just much much superior and has alot more uses. So it feels really bad to be stuck with locket when you could've bought aghs when the game goes a bit longer.
HOWEVER!!!!! The reason I like Locket in some games is that it simplifies the game for me knowing that I am playing a healer. I can be more conscious about my role in games and sometimes I play better with it. As with most things in Dota, having 30% more unexpected heal can be really good in teamfights because opponents aren't expecting Dazzle to heal through certain spells. And the value of 442 burst heal from the 20 charges can't be measured. It's also a great item that keeps you on the map and helps you farm because of the charges you can give yourself while you do stuff around the map.
I would go for it and try it a couple games and see how it feels!!!! Because you have the wand charges, you may be able to skip arcane boots for example if you're buying those.
I don't have an updated guide in dota (it does exist but it's all over the place because I just add in any potential items Dazzle can buy), but there are many solid guides that are plenty good :)
