    7. Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Brownies
    8. Nick at Nite's TV Land
    9. Mazda Protege
    10. TGI Friday's (With Bryan Cranston! Though he had appeared as Jerry's dentist on "Seinfeld" by this point, this was well before his career really took off and was mostly still known for doing small parts in TV shows and commercials)
    11. Stouffer's
    12. L'Oreal Colour Endure Lipcolour
    13. Claritin (This might be one of the first direct to consumer pharmaceutical ads. The influx of these type of ads later on in the 90's is one of the reasons why I don't post stuff from after 1996)
    14. Promo for "Dr. Katz Professional Therapist" (This show always looked to me like it was animated with Mario Paint)
    15. "The Dick Van Dyke Show" End Credits
    16. Professional Strength Pine Sol
    17. Purina One Dog Food (With Robert Urich)
    18. Nick at Nite Station ID

    22. BacOs
    23. Pier 1 Imports
    24. Math Is Power PSA (With Sinbad. The actor in the viking hat at 9:15 is Sean Whalen. I recently posted his appearance in the iconic Alexander Hamilton "Got Milk?" ad but he also appeared in TV shows like "Lost" and movies like "Twister")
    25. Fruit Of The Loom (Try as you might underwear people, you're never going to get the image of Michael Madsen dancing to this song in a warehouse out of my head)
    26. Stick Ups
    27. Mentadent Mouthwash
    28. "The Bob Newhart Show" End Credits (10:48 Somebody please make a sidescrolling video game where you control Bob Newhart walking down the street, avoiding enemies and hazards on his way to work)
    29. Promo for "1996 VH1 Honors"
    30. Lennox
    31. Vidal Sassoon Shampoos and Conditioners
    32. Nick at Nite's TV Land (With Marlo Thomas)
    33. Nick at Nite Station ID
    34. Next up on Nick at Nite...
    35. Our Television Heritage: The Lucy Show (The production of "I Love Lucy" might have worked out better with Gail Gordon as Fred Mertz, as William Frawley famously did not get along with co-star Vivian Vance)
    36. Extra Strength Tylenol
    37. Kingsford Match Light Charcoal
    38. Hot Pockets Croissant Pockets
    39. Dance Mix Vol 4

Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Brownies- I’ve never had these back in the day, but when a dessert says to be fat free, I always think of the saying my Mom has about it,”Fat Free, Flavor Free”.
Promo For “Dr. Katz Professional Therapist “- Every time I see this show, it always reminds me of the comedic moment on Family Guy about it. Where Peter Griffin asks Dr. Katz why he’s shaking and Dr. Katz answers that he’s having a seizure.

The nick at nite blocks really takes me back to those sleepless nights as a teen watching classic tv to pass the time. I also notice the internet isn't really talked about much and the websites that do appear are too small to read as if its being treated a as joke.

I liked Sean Whalen in "The People Under the Stairs". I love these latest Nick at Nite posts, I would have been just about to turn 14 on this date and most definitely watching.

Bryan Cranston did a lot of voice acting at this time such as some anime dubs and playing various monsters on Power Rangers. In fact, the people behind Power Rangers liked Bryan so much, they named the Blue Ranger Billy Cranston after him.

The name "Billy Cranston" actually appeared before Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Billy Cranston was first written into a Haim Saban television pilot entitled Bio-Man in 1986. The pilot, an adaptation of the Japanese series Choudenshi Bioman, ultimately failed, but led to the production of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993 and Cranston's name followed from one series to the next. This information negates Bryan Cranston's work on Power Rangers as a factor in Billy Cranston's name.

Claritin was the first one I remembered seeing everywhere, who knew then what kind of a legacy it would leave with more and more of these ads every year!

6:22 - This episode was copyrighted in 1964, which would have made it 32 years old when these commercials aired. 1992 was 32 years ago from today. Kind of scary to think. I remember as a kid thinking anything black and white was long ago, yet the 90s don’t seem so distant in my mind.

IMO a lot more change happened socially/culturally between the 60's and 90's, so the difference between those two time periods seemed much more apparent. Even stuff like technology went from black and white TV and transistor radios to digital video/audio, big screen TV's and the dawn of the internet. There's been a lot of change between 1992 and today, but it's a bit more nebulous and harder to define.

Bryan Cranston is one of my actors. It was cool to see him in the T.G.I. Friday's commercial.
