  • Dr Andreas Krieg of King's College London:
"Talking about Hamas battalions and tunnels destroyed is meaningless. Israel has fundamentally misunderstood Hamas' sources of power as the embodiment of the idea of armed resistance. It is here where Israel's war in Gaza has been counterproductive"

How free one can speak from outside Germany. In Germany, you would have been labeled anti-semite for those words!

Is it wrong calling out anti-Semites for what they are?

You cannot kill the aspiration of people to be free of oppression.
Just ask the Taliban, Vietcong, Irish

"Oppression" is your perception, based on the Arab "Palestinian" narrative. If your neighbor doesn't want you as a neighbor, and desires your land to be his/hers, while accumulating weapons, and building tunnels, using force to annihilate you, wouldn't you use Force to tame that wish.
Do understand, the so called "Palestinians" aren't out there to build a neighboring state, their ideal and morals aren't equivalent to Western Society morals. The Arabs have one ideal in mind, the destruction of the one Jewish state of Israel. Follow the money provided by UNRWA, most if not all of it went for weaponry and tunnel construction, including the deep pockets of their leadership.
If one is looking for a true Mideast solution, try the restructure of the Japanese and the South Koreans, post WWI.

Suffering of people of Gaza is self inflected. Muslim countries have no concern for Gazans but western countries have.

Oh really. Don't throw all Muslims in one pot. There are those who happily fraternise with the West, who fully embrace western norms. Those are your Muslims, wholly enslaved to you and owned by you. Then there's the other Muslims. The ones represented by Hamas, who don't embrace your values or cultire, are not your slaves and who arnt intimidated by you.

Every oppressed population has inflicted the oppressor onto themselves. That's what you are saying? Or could it be the oppressors are out of date and should be ousted, everywhere in the world, by now? Have a coffee and a walk first.

Stand by the Oslo Accords and not strip people for the right to live. Journalists of all walks have worked for this for the 76 years of this conflict. Israeli governments and military have not.
