Thank you for posting this. I lost my dad going on 5 yrs ago due to esophageal cancer. He was and still is my hero. He held on when others would have given up and he did it for me. To this day I have no idea how he held on I can only say it was by the grace of God that he did. I miss you dad. Thank you to you and mom for everything you have done for me as I was growing up and have had a family of my own. You are my hero and I will miss you every day.

Just got over cancer in April. My late mum heart attack and dad cancer where my heroes. My dad fought bravely until the end. My children got me through my darkest nights and my amazing partner stood by my side all the way. Along with family and friends. I remember the day Westlife released their first album. I reluctantly gave it a try and there was that little song called “Flying Without Wings”. I was a sobbing mess and the rest is history. Their music is still my secret happy place. If only they knew how important they are for so many people 😌
