Thank you very much for reacting to the series, RarityDash! I also appreciate your input in the end, as I value constructive criticism, so I can help make the future episodes better than the last. Glad you enjoyed this first episode, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the series to come!
Thank you for making this. I got so many nostalgic feeling watching this.
When it comes to Phoenix's voice, I think I kinda see where RarityDash is coming from (though like he said, he hasn't seen the original in ages). It is a good impression, though I can sense subtle differences that can be a little bit distracting. It's hard to describe, but he sounds slightly younger/higher pitched? Maybe it's the clearer audio quality that's throwing us off?
Just to clarify, I mean no disrespect to Julius in the slightest. He definitely brought his A-game. Trust me, I've taken a crack at voice acting before, and it is a LOT harder than it looks.
Keep up the good work. :)
and we never heard anything again
Oh boy, I remember watching Turnabout Storm ages ago. Seeing this brings back so many memories and joy.
Yeah, I haven't watched turnabout storm in years!
@@RpGfreak901 I can't wait to see how this story is gonna conclude.
RarityDash... Friend...
_Play._
_The._
_Phoenix Wright._
_Ace Attorney._
_Games!_
100% agreed.
Definitely, the first three are on Steam. I'm suggesting this as a simple solution.
@@titanslayer8458 Indeed, they're all available together as the Ace Attorney Trilogy.
Also, there's an anime. So, maybe if he wanted a quick version he could react to the Ace Attorney anime. however, it's not as good as the games are. But the anime is still ok.
@@the-NightStar Agreed, also I've been playing it on my channel, I messed up a couple times, despite seeing the cases before.
@@titanslayer8458 He could easily stream it since I also think the trilogy was released on PS4
Dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but those undies of Trucy's? That wasn't a gag made up for this series 'nor anything else about it. It was a fairly significant piece of evidence in Apollo's second case and has been kinda a reoccurring gag ever since. Most magicians have magic hats, Trucy has panties. Presenting evidence to Trucy in the games can end up with her using her panties to cause said evidence to disappear and reappear. Trucy's pretty great. Athena's awesome to. Apollo's kinda a stick in the mud though.
Well, someone has to be the straight man for good comedy and that's where Apollo comes in
This has been in production for four years, so S5 stuff is the limit as far as mlp lore will go in this series
Trucy is his adoptive daughter. Apollo Justice is the first person to join Phoenix in his group. I do not know anything about Athena because I have not played any Phoenix Wright games with her yet!
Well, actually, Trucy the foster daughter of Phoenix, not biological.
Shhhhh, let him play the game to found out.... in the far future
@@JArt872, I don't think he'll ever play these games.
@@hulk1902 There's still no harm in encouraging him to. :)
@@hulk1902 RD said he is likely going to do it after portal
Saying she's not biologically related isn't a spoiler without context.
Oh my gosh, it's happening! Turnabout Storm is what brought me into the fandom in the first place, and watching every reaction to it I could find was how I discovered your channel in the first place. I'm really glad that you've decided to react to the sequel, too. Looking forward to the second part of Case 1.
Looking forward to yr reaction to part 2, when you feel it's been out long enough that you'll give it an extra boost rather than cut into its views!
This Turnabout storm sequel is off to an amazing start. And i can't wait to watch your reactions to all the parts when they are released.😎
Twilight's voice sounded better in turnabout storm.
@@RpGfreak901 They sound pretty much the same to me.
Actually, they sound very different.
@@RpGfreak901I went back and heard the voices back to back and you are right they do sound different now that im comparing the 2. So i think i like them equally.
YES. I've been waiting for this.
Also, if you weren't aware.... I also make my debut as a voice actor in part 2, whenever it's completed.
Yes. I am a part of this Elements Of Justice series. I'm proud to be able to say that. I auditioned for a part and I got it, and recorded the lines 4 years ago, already.
Awesome!
@@fictionferguson1320 I wish I could say more about my role, especially regarding something RarityDash says during his outro, but i'm determined not to give any spoilers about it. Though it's sometimes been hard keeping my silence for 4 years, already. :3 I just hope everyone likes it when they hear it. I really gave it my all.
ᵗʰᵉNight★Star Damn 4 years ago. Jesus Christ! (Ik about the delays)
@@the-NightStar oh I think I figured it out. But don't worry I'll keep quiet. Also always nice to see you.
@@the-NightStar god, i love that blooper
54:13 considering the _other_ picture Phoenix brought back from Equestria, this could have gone much worse
This was made for between seasons 4 and 5. The description said that. When it said Gilda and Rainbow made up, it didn't mean that episode.
If the judge appears I'm not gonna be surprised
He did say he was going to stay in the world last time in the first series
12:01 Look, look with your special eyes.
Apollo may seem a bit of a stick in the mud, but it makes sense if you played the games. Also, the reason why he declined Rarity’s offer is because there is a running gag of his appearance being mocked, particularly his hair antennas, so in a way, he feels a bit insulted by Rarity’s offer
Since the video didn't mention it, Trucy is actually Phoenix's adopted daughter. She's from a long line of magicians, and he took her in shortly after her father disappeared. If I've got the timeline right, that would've been about half a year after the first of these crossovers!
Phoenix asked why is everyone so shocked that he has a daughter.
I think it's because he's not married, so they assume that she must be an illegitimate child. They don't know she's adopted.
@@RpGfreak901 I figure that's probably the case, but I was more focused on Rarity Dash not knowing about it. Better to have a framework going into the reaction, right?
Maybe he hasn't played the games?
@@RpGfreak901 Right, which is why I wanted to help him out.
Well, during the first run of this series years ago, I hadn't played any of the Phoenix Wright games and I could still follow it okay.
I'm glad you've reacted to this. Given how long he's been working on the series, he deserves to have as many people see it as possible.
This must take place between seasons 4 and 5. It's after season 4, since Twilight has her castle, but before season 5 because Starlight isn't around yet.
Starlight wasn't really around until after season five though. it could be set during season five without any conflict.
C A K E W A L K
His daughter is adopted. Also, during that disclaimer at the end, there's a detail that nobody noticed, and is in part 2, and nobody noticed, and had to be brought up during the director's commentary. Simply put, "Copyrighted" is spelled "Copywrighted". And as much as I can't wait for your reaction to part 2, I've gotta warn you, there's a moment where it stabs a knife in your heart and twists. Simply put, the prosecutor is absolutely irredeemable.
Also, the movie is canon, and you can't say that the Storm King survived (AKA dead).
The second AND third part of this trial is now available.
44:36 It's funny. Approximately the same situation was in the first episode "Turnabout Storm" - where the Phoenix at the right moment was a camera in his pocket.
56:25 there’s a different sequel called Turnabout:Spa where Trixie becomes a defense attorney and Sonata does indeed get into law herself as well. So she becomes a better pony.
You wouldn't be lost if you played Ace Attorney 4/Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and Ace Attorney 5/Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. Though if you want we, as the comments, can bring you up to speed since you never seem to have gotten around to playing them... like... at all.
In case you haven’t realized, the characters of Ace Attorney have some quirky names, some are play-on-words
now we're less than two days away from the part 2 premiere
Well this brings back memories
36:29 I guarantee you RD if a mare or any female said that youd be all over them. So whipped also if you remember in the last series ponies somehow knew what humans were
Part 2 of Turnabout Theatre is already out. You should react to it.
33:19 He looks like re-color of Sven Gallop
great reaction video, and I was wondering if u ever plan to react to part 2 and 3 of turnabout theatre?
Raritydash: Who doesn't love pie?
Me: *Raises hand* I do love Pinkie pie, limestone pie, maud pie, marble pie & chicken pie though.
Uhh, Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash doesn't like pie. She's stealthily gotten rid of every pie Pinkie's ever given her.
Part 2 is available now.
Hey did you know that element of justice part 2 is out and history repeats and the folly of celestia
Going out in without Context, come out With a pretty good Story
wow, phoenix new voice threw me off for a bit there. he's sounding quiet a bit deeper than he did in the last one. still not a bad choice. and the rest of the voice acting is pretty awesome as well. not too surprising considering how much effort was put into this.
the series is set between Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice and between seasons 4 and 5
"Gilda and Rainbow Dash made up"
In what season was Treasure of Griffonstone?
@@Edward256 *sigh* they made up after the events of turnabout storm. It had nothing to do with that episode because that episode didn't happen chronologically yet.
@@Saltyoven So why the hostile welcome in said episode if they made up before then?
@@Edward256 Because Turnabout storm isn't canon. Word of God states this takes place between those 2 seasons, so that episode as well as the Existence of Starlight haven't happened.
"All that Rarity praise. Jealous"
You were "pampered by Rarity" on your birthday.
What are you complaining about?
There's more, you know!
Yay! More Ace Attorney stuff is always good! And ponies are cool too, I guess. But come on, Ace Attorney is hype! I’ve played all the games. (At least the one’s that were localized). I’m still waiting for that Ace Attorney x Danganronpa crossover, that’d be amazing.
52:12 the pony is named after an alcoholic drink.
So, when do you plan to watch the last two parts of this case?
The second episode of Elements of Justice is coming in August 7th.
Nostalgia
Are you gonna react to parts 2 and 3?
I was wondering when you’d react to this.
SPOILER (to some): Apollo is Phoenix’s adoptive stepson. He and Trucy both have the same mother, but after Apollo’s father died, Apollo’s mom remarried and she had Trucy. Apollo’s name in her first marriage was Thallasa Justice, then she became Thallasa Gramarye. I just don’t think Phoenix has accepted him as his kid.
Please watch part 2!!!!
You should watch more of the series they sre up to case 2 (episode 7) there's also episode 2 and 3 of case 1
Can you finish reacting to at least case one of elements of justice that part is out and then they got keys to going on right now
Cakewalk.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHH BOIIII
Pity there was no mention of anything to do with the first Equestria Girls movie.
Guess it hasn't happened yet.
It has
There's just no mention
EQG 1 - Between Season 3 & 4
Elements Of Justice - Between Season 4 & 5
where reaction for part2
If you can't play the games ..... Watch let's play like on Pharoh 2091 CZcams Channel.....You miss so much there ....
And there's also the anime. It's ok. It's not as good as the games, but it's a very good cliffnotes version if someone wanted to get all of the context without necessarily playing all three titles. My only problem is that it glosses over some of the more iconic moments from the games and it can feel a bit rushed at times.
