Sean Ryan is a good friend of mine and hunting partner. He deserves the hunt more than anyone I know. Him and I were RMEF commitee members and Co Chairs for for NE GA chapter of RMEF. Took 12 years to draw that tag. I drew my 12 year tag this year too. We were gonna hunt together until.he won this hunt with Randy. I couldn't be more proud of Sean. You won't meet a nicer guy. This is his first Bull. He shot a cow with me in Colorado a few years back. Almost every hunt I go on, he's on too. Great hunting buddy! Congrats Sean!!
Looks like the tag says unit 106 NR special. If that is the case it only takes six points.
That sunset view with the elk on the ridge at the 15:28 mark was amazing.

Naps are one of life’s simple pleasure that as you get older you need to help keep you focused and to hold onto the attitude it takes to succeed in life! Now throw in a dilly bar from Dairy Queen and life is good! Great hunt and thanks for taking out new hunters that we do need if we are to keep hunting in the future!

So what my son says about Wyoming being windy is true! Those elk get into the very best place they can to see danger from any direction and have easy access to an escape or safety zone from hunters

nice job! I know you use mostly Nosler bullets, but Im wondering what caliber and bullet was used in this hunt?
In Oregon on the coast range. You are lucky you can just walk around, you can see for hundreds of yards and you are seeing Elk. In the coast range, you would be lucky to hear a null, let alone see one. The terrain is so over grown, so thick, be lucky to gat a shot at 75 yards. Consider yourself lucky.
elk are cool and all but them pronghorn in the background got me kinda excited.

In Wyoming you need either an orange hat or orange vest, not both. He choose an orange hat.

I'm super happy for this guy to get his first bull. But I can't help but feel like shooting that bull on day 2 was a bit of a missed opportunity after seeing what that unit had the potential to produce. But if he's happy with it that's what matters. Congrats bud. Maybe Randy needs to stick to hunting instead of guiding lol

The intro says a few days of scouting. I'm sure the intel was sufficient enough for Sean to be as thrilled as he was with that bull.
@@jagardner77 They literally showed bulls during their scouting that dwarfed that one. So they must not have paid much attention to the Intel
