Today we tackle a dual sector with a one hour session which we started around 10:30pm ... even for close to midnight we still had a very decent amount of traffic.
This video looked at covering a dual sector on Central and South sector, where we got traffic in/out of Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted and a few overflights!
Any questions please do feel free to comment down below! Also, make sure you chuck a cheeky like, comment and subscribe!

I love videos like these because I struggle to watch the Twitch streams with school and everything - these can be watched at any time :D
Ah class mate! - will defo get some more out from other sectors! :D
This is awesome man, as a certified AT controller in Tucuman tower SANT, Argentina. Where we don't even dream of having as much traffic as you have irl in britain or in Vatsim tbh. We have time to make some tea between flights but it is a awesome experience. Recent follower but I love ur content, ur ATC videos and ur P3D flight-alongs, keep the positive vibes my dude. Cheers 🇦🇷🇦🇷
Love your ATC videos. It has been 5 years since I last controlled. I was C1 rated in Toronto FIR-CYYZ. I forgot how much fun it is. Unfortunately real life has got in the way, but I do at some point want to return to ATC on Vatsim. Keep up the excellent work. Your the boss dude.

I watch both of your control sessions here on youtube and it is just fantastic!!! Better content of the type I found. Looking to start controlling VATSIM here in Brazil after watching you.
Only found your channel the other day and now a new video after a few months. Perfect timing it seems
Perfect timing! ;)
Love it Jambo! Gonna start my journey as a vatsim controller soon!!
How’s it going so far?
Great video Jamie you make me want to become a controller on vatsim continue the Great work
You should, it's awesome. There's a world of people fly through an airport or a piece of airspace

This is fascinating.
yay more videos
Letssss gooooooooooooooooo
How do you learn how to do this? I would love to do this but have no clue where to even start!
Woop more controlling!💯
So I recently got a “descend FL090 by WAYPOINT” command from ATC which I read back. FMC was showing me a 2000 fpm descent, so I immediately started to descend, since I also needed to slow down to 250 (was over 290). He got a bit angry with me for beginning the descent and told me to descend to FL120, and then later confirmed 090. Who was wrong? What should I have done better? Where was the miscommunication?
If he told you “descend FL090 by WAYPOINT” then yeah, that means descend to FL90, and make sure you are at FL90 by that waypoint, so he should've given a clearer instruction if he wanted you to descend to a different FL but maintaining a certain descent rate.
Londoncontroller yt video let's goooo. Btw, Any advice for a controller looking to transfer to the uk in the future? Any place to access uk procedures before transferring? Cheers.
How do you know their track miles? Experience, or data?
Yep! - experience! Check out the latest videos for more!
why not manchester control?
Nice atc video. Question: What is that feature when aircraft transmit there is a circle around it on your scope? I understand vatsim software can do it, but is it real world feature as well?
What Mic are you using? It looks expensive. can you give me any technical details regarding connection, model, software etc? Many thanks! Keep these videos coming!
.
i wonder if we beat those 3.2K bits in the next stream... :)
Defo not mateeeeeee!
@@LONController challenge accepted, have fun :)
This is POGGERS i do remember catching you controlling offline (jeff23481)
Wait, does the audio app you use simulate radio range? (Easyjet).
Amateur radio licence holder here so used to giving R reports, we also give signal as well 1-9 or 9+
Edit: or poor tech setup, obvs. Hard to know which I imagine
hey Jake how do you know what speed and what alt to designate each aircraft without knowing their flight plane alt plan. Im a pilot in vatsim and I normally choose my alt with my flight plan, and If atc wants to give me a diff ill ofc comply
could you list the plugins you're using in euroscope ?
Lovely video but my one question is what is Jetblue doing in Europe?
Hi, How do you know who is calling?
nice video. can you do a tutorial movie of euroscope?
brilliant video, quick question, how do you know when to descend people and to what FL?
This is one we get all of the time! - my short answer is... we just know! :P - But, most charts have level restrictions by certain points and we also have certain restrictions for the transfer of control of the aircraft.
We also factor in what the aircraft is and the rate at which they can decide. Helps when flying almost daily! :P
@@LONController i was wondering if all descents accounted for the largest aircraft for safety, but you also discern what type of plane it is? my lord
Worth looking up STARs and SIDs as well
@@LONController Do you just do them in categories of plane or are you really remembering climb specs by type?
Oh yeah and beacon would be nice while pushing
witch software are u using in vatsim ?
are you also able to control somewhere else?
Have a few things in mind. Wouldn't want to control many other places... would rather make sure that I am confident in my home sectors! - would love to go and control some holiday destination places!
I had a question how did you become controller on vatsim because I want to become one
I’m planning on starting controlling on vatsim, I have about 500 hours flying on vatsim. I am wondering how long all the training and everything takes before I can start controlling? What software do you recommend for controlling? @LondonController
Training depends on your Region and Division
He’s using EuroScope Software
@@lorexcold Thank you for replaying! I was able to talk with Jamie via discord so I have got answers for my questions.😄
London Control in Scotland? Kappa
:D
Who new that I’m talking to him jeez I just realised lol
Do more on CZcams
Bro!! I would die if you were my atc. It’s so hard for me to understand your accent 😂
