It just saddens me too much that I can never get through that section of the song without immediately crying..
I spent a year abroad in Germany and I used to play this song every night before I went to sleep. Sometimes when I walked home at the end of the day I'd sing this song to myself. Now whenever I listen to this song it reminds me a lot of my time Germany. Beautiful song.
I am now 14 years old and miss the times I would sit and watch the lion king everyday when I was little. Those were the days. Wish I could go back and do what I used to do! Best Disney song no doubt!
I was at a memorial service a week ago. The person who died loved Disney. This song was played and there was lots of sobbing. Even the minister had a hard time listening to it.
I remember watching The Lion King on VHS when I was a toddler all throughout elementary school, and always watched through the credits. I always waited to see Elton’s name because he was “the guy who made the song!” I’m not even an adult yet and I love Elton John and respect him greatly. He makes me proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ and music community.
This was me and my cats favorite song. He died in my arms 2 weeks ago listening to this song. He was MY warrior. He and I fought long and hard to stay together when everything tried pulling us apart. Seperation when we were sent to the DV shelter WAS the most miserable time for me and when I was able to get him back we were inseperable He was going to be 17yrs old August 15-2022. He is beautiful and I will forever miss him and this song will stick with me always
I did enjoy some of Aladdin's new add ons, like the Harvest Dance and Speechless and the rendition of A Whole New World was so great and the deleted song Desert Moon shouldn't have been removed. Not saying the remakes were that good, but they did some great things, like Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast (Gaston and Lefou in particular) and Aladdin.
Oi you're contradicting yourself. If you're a Disney fan then why obsess on TLK and the 90s and go salty on 2010s? Ungrateful shill, if you don't like the remakes then shut up, unless you form a good reason why you not like it.
@@fredv6237 thats a dumb thing to say. The 90s versions of the movies are superior in literslly every way besides maybe graphics but even then its more charming anyways. Plys new disney content sucks ass compared to what was made in the past.
Word to that. I was born in '86. I remember very vividly when The Lion King came out in '94. This was the first song I played on my keyboard. Still just as epic as it was 24 years ago. Ah, the '90s. Awesome decade. Simple times. Neither this song nor the Lion King will ever get old
Listening to this song while crying my heart out. I am praying that whatever comes along the way that God will strengthen me and make me stronger day by day. I just wish a happier me in the coming years with my beloved.
It’s crazy because whenever I hear this, I wanna watch the movie. When you grow up loving a movie like this, it’s an unforgettable feeling. Truly timeless. If you love The Lion King as much as me, you know EXACTLY what I mean. Thumbs up if you can relate to this.
This song would play at the exact same time on the radio every day right as I got picked up from day care, and it was legit my FAVORITE song. I sometimes wonder if my dad was calling the station to play it then. XD

It just saddens me too much that I can never get through that section of the song without immediately crying..
Can everyone feel the love in 2021?
Ella Lever and also
Can everyone and you feel the love the lion king Reboot in 2019 ?
Forget how it really feels like but this song is nostalgic, simply beautiful.
Yes
Hahahahahaha good joke dude
I can
I spent a year abroad in Germany and I used to play this song every night before I went to sleep. Sometimes when I walked home at the end of the day I'd sing this song to myself. Now whenever I listen to this song it reminds me a lot of my time Germany. Beautiful song.
Nostalgia of childhood. The meaning is beautiful
This song gives me nostalgia.... It warms my heart...
One of Sir Elton's best.
He's not a sir he's a Dame
***** Hey, just because he plays piano! You never know, he could be the guy in the relationship XD
***** Know the difference. Sir is a title of honor given to men. Dame is a title of honor given to women! Stupid fucking moron.
WyreWizard I had no idea wizards could be so rude.. I am shocked and appalled.
I only give what I get, Mr. Soze.
This is a great song, one of Elton John’s best.
The best version of this song. Nothing can beat this🙌🏻
Yup yup yup yup
Except the version in The Lion King (1994) but that’s just me
Yupyup
@@Tiggster-qr8mw your not the only one
La version française est jolie aussi
"its for this restless warrior" Those lyrics were deep
Laying in bed and hoping that this pandemic will end so i could see the man i love its almost 2 years now 🥺 hope the love is still there 😢
I love this song soooo much. It just makes me think of good times back when I was a child.
Today i went to an excursion to see a church in Novelda, Spain, then when we entered, a chorus of kids were singing this. Omg da goosebumps
Sorry, my english is trash :)
Yes it is but you can improve it
It’s not that bad some English people speak worse. But yes you will improve.
I lost my cousin few years ago we grew up watching lion king I miss him so much my best friend
Damn i'm sorry for your loss. He is in a better place now bud ☺
I'm so sorry
I hope and pray you two are reunited one day in heaven my dear ♡
I remember watching The Lion King on VHS when I was a toddler all throughout elementary school, and always watched through the credits. I always waited to see Elton’s name because he was “the guy who made the song!” I’m not even an adult yet and I love Elton John and respect him greatly. He makes me proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ and music community.
love you Elton. And all the tonights we all have left! Thanks for your songs--Bernie too.
I dont know a damn thing about love, but what i do know is, that this song is legendary
This always makes me want to cry. It is that beautiful.... I’m so happy to have grown up with this classic Disney movie ❤️
when I was in elementary school, we always provided this after aerobics ... a nice memory
This was me and my cats favorite song. He died in my arms 2 weeks ago listening to this song.
He was MY warrior.
He and I fought long and hard to stay together when everything tried pulling us apart. Seperation when we were sent to the DV shelter WAS the most miserable time for me and when I was able to get him back we were inseperable
He was going to be 17yrs old August 15-2022.
He is beautiful and I will forever miss him and this song will stick with me always
Hello Melinda, how are you doing?
To hell with 2019 and their remakes. 90's Disney movies will NEVER be touched.
So true
Oi you're contradicting yourself. If you're a Disney fan then why obsess on TLK and the 90s and go salty on 2010s? Ungrateful shill, if you don't like the remakes then shut up, unless you form a good reason why you not like it.
Need bring back the 90snn nvr leave from it
@@fredv6237 thats a dumb thing to say. The 90s versions of the movies are superior in literslly every way besides maybe graphics but even then its more charming anyways. The old movies had a lot more emotion and care put into rehashes that have no new creativity. Its literally just a full on copy paste. Plys new disney content sucks ass compared to what was made in the past.
Being from the 89' generation, this song brings back so much feelings and memories.
i can definitely relate. Good careless times. :)
Relate
Word to that. I was born in '86. I remember very vividly when The Lion King came out in '94. This was the first song I played on my keyboard. Still just as epic as it was 24 years ago. Ah, the '90s. Awesome decade. Simple times. Neither this song nor the Lion King will ever get old
Listening to this song while crying my heart out. I am praying that whatever comes along the way that God will strengthen me and make me stronger day by day. I just wish a happier me in the coming years with my beloved.
Hoping you're at your happiest right now💖💖
I don t know how old you are but you WILL get stronger ❤
Aman 😇
Amen.
It’s the 1th romantic song ever❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
It’s crazy because whenever I hear this, I wanna watch the movie. When you grow up loving a movie like this, it’s an unforgettable feeling. Truly timeless. If you love The Lion King as much as me, you know EXACTLY what I mean. Thumbs up if you can relate to this.
Those were the good old days watching Disney films on VHS.
“ coming soon to a theatre near you “
Nostalgia!!😭😭😭😭😭😭
I still watch vhs to this day
I still remember the 7 year old me crying on The lion king movie without knowing why
Yes?
Maybe cause of what happened to Mufasa? I know me and my sister were kids at the time and cried.
This song would play at the exact same time on the radio every day right as I got picked up from day care, and it was legit my FAVORITE song. I sometimes wonder if my dad was calling the station to play it then. XD
This song has held a very special place in my heart since I first saw The Lion King. I was 7 years old when it came out, and it's still to this day my all-time favourite Disney film 🖤🖤🖤

To he "learn not to twist and to lie the score" lol
Further points for using the word “vagabonds”
It's Elton John.
i love this song! when i was younger my parents played this all the time in the car💚 and this video came out when i was born!!!
This song was sung at my fifth grade graduation. Now I listen to it and remember how easy school was then compared to how it is now. I don't understand anything these kids are learning. I feel like I have to go back and start over and learn along with them.
2002's kids would never forget this type of music...
neither i !
2000s kids in general.
We grew up with this song💕
I'm 2003
How did you children "grow up" with this song if it came out in 1994? Us 90's kids are the ones who truly grew up with it.
I saw this on the lion king but this song is indescribably awesome! just so deep, passionate, emotional. I love these songs!
Its 5/10 at best

Hello Louise, how are you doing?
I'm just 15 and I know, that this song will be the song for my marriage.
I think it's fair to assume: this is the most famous song of Elton John.
Wat about Bennie and the jets
+Angelus Nah, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Bennie and the Jets, Candle in the Wind, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

I was born in 2002 but I grew up listening to the 90's music. They are so much better than the those of these days. 😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
Cool
60,70,80 an 90s are the best in my opinion. I was born in 94. Much better music than today's definitely.
'While others search for what they can get but a good king searches for what he can give'. I will remember these part of the dialogue in the film.
I hope you feel that thing that I feel when I listen to this. I've listened this my whole life, and everytime it seems to be the first time
Gave me chills... songs don't usually do that
Kaelyn probly because you arent listening to the right music. I get chills all of the time. Its triggered when the music is really good and when it is emotional or exciting.
Kaelyn joshcoshbagosh is right :) if you can find the music that fits you, you'll get chills like you had here all the time :=)
