As a Pens fan I thought I would hate seeing the Caps win, but I don't. Definition of hard work - they outplayed everyone decisively and to be fair, it's a nice feeling seeing Ovi so happy with a cup - congrats Washington.

Definitely deserved the cup.
There was a lot of bullshit calls in r2, but you don't win on calls alone and its that simple.
The biggest reason I didn't want the caps to win is cause of tom Wilson.
But that's just a personal disliking of the guy.
The caps definitely deserved it though, there's no doubt.

Carlson is a Capital for at least 8 more seasons. Smith-Pelly is back for at least one season. So far Caps have lost only Gruby and Orpik(Orpik may be back at a lower cost). They just need to get Wilson and Kempny signed and the whole crew is back. Looking good for next season. Only thing that worries me is losing Trotz. Hopefully Todd can fill his shoes.

Flyers fan here!!!! And I can't get over how happy I am for Ovechkin. He deserved this so much, and worked so hard for so long. I was beyond thrilled when he lifted that Cup, and still am! If my Flyers couldn't win the Cup, I'm so glad the Capitals did.
