I have watched many groomers on CZcams; I think you are the best so far.
I am trying to groom my elderly Shih Tzu who has been traumatised by a bad groomer. I can do most of him but he fights and bites when I get near his eyes which means I now have to take him to the vet to trim his face when tranquilised. Beware of bad groomers!

I would love to see how you cut a shih tzu with short body and hair on legs long all the way to floor. I am trying to see the best way to go from short body transitioning to long hair on legs. I don't know if I should make definite line or blend. Longer ears. Love watching you. You are so gentle with the dogs.

I love this video but I would love for to hear what you're doing and any tips along the way. I adopted a shih tzu and want to groom him myself. I find it very calming just combing his coat.

What setting is the hair dryer on?
It would be helpful if you used the clippers first then go to the scissors and to sweep your table as you go and to never leave grooming tools on the table.

What do you do if the dog fights you the entire time? My dog does not sit still at all. For example when you were shaving this dog's chest & holding it's chin, I did the same but my dog kept squirming and the result was a piece of the hair on her ear being chopped off lol
You have to be calm, patient and consistant. You must show the dog what kind of reaction you expect from him.
It shows in the video it shows you used a yellow comb attachment but I also noticed in the description for blade it says 7f, can you clarify what you used on body thank you

Helene I show my way. Brushed before bath? For what? You only destroy the coat. I prefer cutting like that than cutting whole dog becouse its matt.
