Well.. he has the occasional match like that which shows he CAN defend.. but he's not consistent nor reliable. But at the same time, the system we play makes it pretty hard for Trent to be consistent. You could probably equate the number of good defensive games by Trent with the number of poor defensive games by Robbo, and we know poor games by Robbo are uncommon.
Trent has exceptional vision. ChrisMD did a video with him where he (Chris) mentioned that Trent did a really intensive workshop focused on improving that aspect of play. He's really worked to get to where he is. Major props

Interesting. Alexander Arnold shows a range of passing that legend Michel Platini of France showed back in the 1980s. It's extremely rare to have that level of passing ability with short passes, long passes and diagonal through balls.
Given he does have a decent left foot, I do wonder.. could he be a Scouse KDB in the future? Really don't like Gomez at CB but he seems alright at RB, even can put in a decent cross at times. I do think we'd probably need someone with more quality. There's Ramsay with much promise but he's still young and unproven. We can't take Trent away from RB now.. but we know how much of an influence KDB has for City.. and if we could have our own version in Trent, that would be HUGE.
