- I had the pleasure of attending this game as well as an all day birthday party/tailgate right across the street from the big house. It was the perfect day! Now if only we could stop having our games broadcast on the BTN every week.
Game played on October 1, 2011 in Ann Arbor.
it was great to see all the trick plays and the 2 quarterbacks on the field at once. it looked like they had a lot of fun
I have season tickets and I just loved al borges calls. That formation with Gardner and Robinson can have like 20 different plays.
Dennard Robinson, excuse me Mr Dennard Robinson. Sir I did not appreciate you enough. Mr Hoke, Sir I was one of your biggest critics. Maybe you didn’t win enough to satisfy some of us but at least you did give a damn. And did manage to beat The Ohio St. Also can’t think you enough for Jabrill Peppers to Michigan. Never get tired of his his highlights.
Facts, Hoke teams took OSU seriously. All 4 games went to the final minutes, no blow outs like the present administration 🤦🏾♂️ and did it in those ugly ass Adidas jerseys
After seeing Western Michigan move the ball on us its a relief to see us do this to a big ten opponent. It shows that we've actually improved. I have a good feeling about the 2nd half of the season, we could finish with 9 wins or more and make some noise in our division.
Fitz T., looks pretty darn good! So did Vincent Smith. Maybe it is good to not have a clear cut #1 back. After all, 2 heads are better than one! Go Blue! :)
As former Minnesota coach Tim Brewster put it. "A rivalry can only be a rivalry if both sides are consitently winning." One thing I appreciate about you WH is the fact you don't consider Minnesota a rivalry game.
@ps2dude13 They were part of the throwback jerseys for the Notre Dame game. All college football teams had numbers on their helmets in the 60's. I guess the players wanted to keep wearing them.
Blake Countess(18) has been playing well the last 2 weeks and I have a feeling he is going to be an X-Factor this Saturday against pass happy Northwestern.
hey, at least the Big Ten HAS a network so fans can see their team play when not on abc/ESPN/etc

@jj578297 They really are. Even if they had Marquise Gray starting, they would still be really bad. The only thing to take from this game was enjoying the blowout and that's about it.
Although, after having 3 of the worst Michigan defenses in school history the last 3 years, I did enjoy seeing a shutout. Even if it was against a team as bad as the Gophers.
Brady asked the players if they still wanted them and the players voted yes.

You know, all week, I've been hearing how this was an awful Minnesota team, and while I understand not wanting to get all excited over a game that our fifth string could have won handily, this is EXACTLY what good teams do to horrible opponents...break their will early and never take your foot off the gas
