I think the Backrooms is a mix of comforting and disturbing images that scares you and calms you. Maybe time is weird there so a minute in the backrooms could be different from our current reality
I can confirm this because I was in the backroom before, yes I can say for myself that the backrooms are real
The backrooms is a dimension that exists underneath every other dimension in existence, hence why you fall down to enter the backrooms. The monsters are either mutated survivors who never made it out, or they're the natural inhabitants of the backrooms. Points of entry are always changing with the size of the backrooms. Which explains why not many people go in, or out. There are also different levels in the Backrooms, so many people just get lost. I have not completed my doorway into the backrooms yet, I still need the dimensional stability module for my Backrooms door. So, I have not been able to explore or study it yet. But when I'm done,(evil chuckle)No one will be safe.

I have a theory about that lady. I remember that somewhere in the comments someone mentioned that she was old at the start and suddenly 19 years later she looks the same. She also says to the kid that "normally there aren't any humans here". The way she says this makes me think that she isn't referring to herself when she says this. Could she be a creature of the backrooms too? Maybe that's why she killed the man when he tried to shut down the machine, because she wanted to be able to get back so she could cause chaos or something.
When you noclip out of reality,you'll be in Level 0. it's the beginning of The Backrooms. with like the smell of wet carpet,endless wallpaper in the walls,and the sound of buzzing lights. there was more levels than one.

The Backrooms originated from a thread posted on the /x/ board of 4chan on 12 May 2019, where an anonymous user asked for others to "post disquieting images that just feel 'off'." There, the first photo depicting the Backrooms was uploaded, presenting a slightly tilted image of a yellow-colored hallway. Another anonymous user commented on the photo with the first story about the Backrooms, claiming that one enters the Backrooms when they "noclip out of reality in the wrong areas," which is a video game-related term originating from Source Engine games for when a player passes through a physical boundary that would otherwise block their way.
The back rooms is where you switch the realities and accidentally no clip out of reality and you have to escape there's not a really good way to escape entities like unknown chase you 😃
