*well experienced in different weights Now I'm a beginner to fly fishing, but I've owned dozens of spinning and baitcasting rods over the years, and I can tell this is a pretty good deal. After practicing a few days in a big open backyard to get the proper timing and arm action, I felt I was ready for the water. That next Saturday morning- success on the 3rd cast!!. Long story short- after a late summer and fall season using this rod (and reel) on about every weekend, I'm very happy with the purchase and can't wait for the ice to melt and get out there again with it. If I were to break it or lose it, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.*
Wow. You're videos are amazing man. Just picked up my first 9'9'', 9 Weight and cant wait to land some pike. Thank you so much for all the helpful tips! Tight lines
Cheers lads, enjoyed that. Never cast a fly in my life but got an invite to go in two weeks so I need to get out and have a go. A bit different to jerk baits so your video is very useful.
Next week I’m going to try out my pike fly fishing skills in Ireland first time! Wish me look :p I’m just equipped with a 7WT as I hate throwing these heavy rods and lines and streamers with my shoulder issue so I hope it won’t be over 1 meter 😂
I would like to try fly fishing but its way too expensive in the UK, my local trout fishery it costs £30-00 for 2 fish ! Great tutorial / tips video though really enjoyed this.
WOW! Amazing - you are so lucky that you got so many pikes! It is a shame if i think of the stock of pikes in my region of germany... Is it possible to show basics for tubefly tying and tying in a weedprotection? I like to fish in the weeds and the water lilies.... Would be a nice Video for TieTV!!!
I would enjoy another video showing stripping patterns and great flies to use and places to find pike. I just started fly fishing here in the Uniited Stated but where i live there is very few pike and they are hard to catch. Unfortunately there is not enough info online to help me catch one and maybe this channel can help.
Nice one i started flyfish 2 and this helped alot now i know i do it right. Or not i didnt get a meter + fish my 1st day flyfishing haha :). Also i love the fly ty movies only what will make it beter is if it is in enlish we now know ur speak it fine:) Keep up the good work!!
Great video! Would enjoy more how-to-videos! Tie TV 1up! My problem is since I shifted from treble hook wobblers to single hook tube flies I've been losing more fish than before (although average has gone up many kilos) so obviously I'm doing something wrong. Maybe some tips and tricks on reeling the fish in and main differences compared to wobblers? It would help the transition into fly fishing.
hi there, wouah....the beginning and right haul and double haul ...this man is superman ahahahah next time would better you fine a real beginner lol but it's a nice videao thanks ! i'd wanted to be like your friend when i starded fly fishing lol good luck nicklaus !
I Hope to meet you on the water , sooner than later . i also love to throw flies at PIKE ! Where are you based , fish the most @Niklaus ? I myself mostly fish from Norrtälje and south towards Trällhavet . and everything in between ! Cheers

stor tummen upp till Pontus för sitt sjukt grymma arbete med kameran i alla filmer!
Omgsh I forgot how much I love the music on these videos
The photographer its now the main face of the show. Good job

On your other video you can enable automatic translation of subtitles. Take on this video too. I'm a fan of your channel from Russia. You are great.

Love this!
thank you for the great instructional video! But could you please make one that show us how to cast big big flies like those in the video?
Great vid. I think he means to say feet, not meters. 50 meters is over 150 feet!!!
I'm pretty sure he said 15 meters. Which makes more sense.
Ännu en riktigt grym video:)
u should also do a vid on differnt tactics to give your fly the action that pike like
im 12 years old and im just started pikeflyfishing
Thanks it helped alot. ;)
I Hope to meet you on the water , sooner than later . i also love to throw flies at PIKE !
Where are you based , fish the most @Niklaus ?
I myself mostly fish from Norrtälje and south towards Trällhavet . and everything in between !
Cheers
What camera do you use for this video please ?
Great video yet a gain.
doubt this guy has never been fly fishing before as just starting out he was already doing a double haul :P
That's exactly what I was going to say. It's like patting your head and rubbing your stomach it's not something you just naturally do when you start
Could you tell me what make and length is the boat you are using?
hey man, what reel is that??? It sure is prettttyyyy
well in pontis
Vad är det för båt som ni använder? Verkar riktigt schysst!:)
What music is in the intro?
it would hopfuly get me hooked up on some pike in my homewaters
wich klass do you use for pike? can i use my 8-9 klass?
9 minimum I'd say. I mostly use 10 wts
Fishinguide Scotland 8-9 works absolutely great
Skulle va kul om man även kunde få se hur man riggar olika jiggar med stingers och sånt
De la upp en med svartzonker tv som Claes visar hur han sätter olika stingers på mcRubber :)
So jealous right now
